[L'amitié franco-belge fait de l'effet dans l'esport. 🍻] Nous étions invités hier après-midi par la BESF - BELGIAN ESPORTS FEDERATION et PapyBooom à Molenbeek à l'occasion des Seniors Games Brussels Edition. Au programme, un match amical d'e-bowling Belgique-France entre le vainqueur de cette première compétition en Belgique et l'équipe des Neuvillettes de la Ville de Saint-Quentin, championnes en titre de la Région Hauts-de-France aux Geek Days de Lille 2024. 🎳 Une ambiance fun et conviviale avec un public belge intergénérationnel qui nous a réservé un accueil mémorable ! Et si à l'arrivée la France a (encore) remporté ce duel transfrontalier, ce sont bien ses voisins qui ont battu des records de fair play et d'hospitalité ! 🍟 Cerise sur le gâteau, nos championnes, leurs jeunes coachs et leurs supporters accompagnés par nos partenaires d'Unis Cité Hauts De France ont même profité d'une visite de Bruxelles en goûtant quelques spécialités locales. 🧇 Merci à Samy BESSI et Youssef Kaddar pour cette première rencontre internationale réussie et pour tous ces beaux souvenirs pour la communauté Silver Geek. 🧓🧒 Merci à la Fondation On Seniors'Side pour son soutien dans le projet qui prévoit d'amener également nos nouveaux amis belges à Paris pour soutenir Christiane et Renée. 🏆 On se remet ça l'année prochaine avec un troisième pays ? 😃 Commune de Molenbeek-Saint-Jean / Gemeente Sint-Jans-Molenbeek Désiré Koussawo Isabelle Picard Lucie Taverne Jerôme Mullet #BELFRA #esport #Belgique #seniors

Bringing Esports to All Ages! 🎮✨ Today, we celebrate the Seniors Games at Molenbeek, a groundbreaking event focused on inclusivity in esports. Organized by the Belgian Esport Federation and Papy Booom , this initiative features eight retirement homes competing for the title of Belgian champion, with the winner representing Belgium at Paris Games Week! We extend our heartfelt thanks to the Nationale Loterij, Groupe Novadia, Commune de Molenbeek-Saint-Jean / Gemeente Sint-Jans-Molenbeek and Commission communautaire française for their invaluable support in making this event possible. Together, we are creating new experiences for seniors and fostering community spirit through esports.🏆💙
