The local group ‘Turlandet Tuse Næs’ built a multi-use community centre in Udgby, Denmark: https://bit.ly/3F1BFqY The centre serves as a hub offering a water station, meeting room, and nature-activity equipment for schools. Strategically located, it connects various local trails and has improved the signage of the area. The project has been documented in ‘Initiativ’, a visual guide outlining fundraising and project management steps. What’s next for rural areas in Europe? The ambition of the #RuralVisionEU is to build stronger, more connected, resilient, and prosperous rural areas by 2040. The Rural Pact community now has over 3 000 members, and the EU Rural Action Plan is underway, with 9 of 30 actions already completed.
