🔴 Yesterday, EBC was pleased to present its Joint Statement "Towards an EU Coordination Plan for the Brain" at the EU Health Policy Platform Annual Meeting! Built with the wider brain community and drawing insights from the public consultation and contributions from EU Science, Research and Innovation and EU Health and Food Safety, the statement aims at laying the ground for an overarching, holistic and ambitious EU Brain Plan. Discussions with European Commission representatives (Tim Raemaekers, Antonio Parenti & Alina Lupu), other Thematic Networks, and the audience were an opportunity to highlight the need to adequately fund and support brain research, to leverage existing initiatives such as the Coordination & Support Action BrainHealth, and to emphasize the need for collaborative and multidisciplinary approaches. 📺 Access the replay of the #EUHPP Annual Meeting here (Password @HPP_webinar2024): https://lnkd.in/edQCDWzm 🔗 Learn more about the Thematic Network: https://lnkd.in/ec_F6jCh
