🇬🇧 The #UK Foreign Secretary David Lammy’s foreign policy vision of progressive realism sparked optimism among advocates of international democracy. Yet, the government’s current approach seems to downplay democracy as a foreign policy priority. Graeme Ramshaw (Westminster Foundation for Democracy (WFD)) warns that Lammy’s reliance on classical realism may neglect core governance issues and suggests adopting critical realism instead.
