May 2025 be the year of freedom for all Israeli hostages, and of increased cooperation between Israel and Europe for the victory of freedom over the Iranian-led axis of instability. Together, we can and must build a better Middle East.

Congratulations to the Swiss Parliament for passing a motion to outlaw #Hezbollah ! This follows last week's approval by the Swiss Parliament to ban #Hamas for 5 years. ELNET welcomes these important moves that will hopefully inspire the rest of #Europe .

ELNET's 2nd E3-Israel Strategic Dialogue in #Paris has concluded. This is yet another opportunity to witness the undeniable strength behind the relations between Israel and its European counterparts.

We commend the EU Foreign Affairs Council's decision to convene the Association Council meetings with Israel. Since her appointment as the EU's new Head of Foreign Policy, Kaja Kallas has proven her willingness to reinvigorate and strengthen relations between Europe and Israel.

Marking his first time in Israel since the terror attacks of October 7, 2023, ELNET organized a trip to the South for French philosopher and author Michel Onfray. This visit was marked by deeply moving encounters and insights into the challenges faced by both Israeli civilian communities and IDF personnel stationed in the south, as well as a compelling discussion at the launch of the book “October 7: Manifesto Against the Erasure of a Crime" at the Netanya Academic College. The event was organized by the campus' founder and ELNET-Israel's Advisory Board Member, Mrs. Claude Grundman, together with Dr. Sarah-Masha Fainberg, PhD, co-director of the book and also member of ELNET-Israel's Advisory Board, together with David Reinharc, who is also its editor. Dr. Emmanuel Navon, CEO of ELNET-Israel, who also contributed to the book, together with Michel Onfray discussed, among other subjects, Onfray's impressions following his day in the south, his special bond with Israel as well as his predictions about the Judeo-Christian civilization. As a closing speech, ELNET-Israel's Deputy Communication Manager, Mr. Ben Rosemblaum presented his graphic contribution with his pictures illustrating the book. Picture Credit: ELNET
