Just published: "Nanomechanics for Coatings and Engineering Surfaces" - your guide to best practices in nanoindentation measurements and related small-scale test methods. In the book, we demonstrate how to use test results to develop improved coatings, outline modeling approaches and numerical simulations, and show future directions for simulation of complex wear scenarios. I thoroughly enjoyed working on this project with Professor Ben Beake, Director of Materials Research at Micro Materials Ltd., and I am grateful to Ben for his invaluable expertise and collaborative spirit that were crucial in bringing this comprehensive work to fruition. The topic is covered in 25 in-depth chapters, bringing together cutting-edge research and expertise from leading experts in nanomechanics, materials science, and surface engineering.
