Hi Tolene van der Merwe, let's have a conversation about year-round Accessible Tourism in #Malta, with European Network for Accessible Tourism (ENAT) asbl. and our NTO members! We have a wealth of knowledge and experience to share about visitors' requirements and standards for the travel and tourism sector.
Currently Director UK & Ireland @ Malta Tourism Authority (Marketing and Operations professional. Strategic planning and development.)
I had the incredible honour of being part of the inaugural #travelleadersummt with Sky last week, where I served on the panel discussing Accessibility in Travel. This summit brought together industry leaders to explore how we can create more inclusive travel experiences for everyone. During our discussions, I emphasised how Malta values accessibility as a crucial aspect of our tourism sector. We are committed to ensuring that our beautiful islands are open and welcoming to people of all abilities. From accessible public transport options to wheelchair-friendly attractions, we strive to enhance the travel experience for all visitors. Malta has made significant strides in this area, but there is always more work to be done. Our goal is to continue improving facilities and services, ensuring that everyone can enjoy the rich culture and stunning landscapes Malta has to offer. I am excited about the future and look forward to collaborating with fellow leaders to drive these important initiatives forward. Thank you to everyone involved in the summit for your insights and dedication to making travel accessible for all! #TravelLeadersSummit #AccessibilityInTravel #Malta #InclusiveTourism
