About us
The European Cancer Organisation aims to reduce the burden of cancer, improving outcomes and the quality of care for cancer patients through multidisciplinarity and multiprofessionalism. As the not-for-profit federation of member organisations working in cancer at a European level, we convene oncology professionals and patients to agree policy, advocate for positive change and speak up for the European cancer community. Every year, we organise the European Cancer Summit.

For too long, #healthcare policies in Europe have failed to address the specific needs and conditions of #women. ➡️ An estimated 12 million women in Europe live with cancer; ➡️ Another 1.2 million are diagnosed with cancer each year; ➡️ Nearly 600,000 die from it annually. Enough is enough! ✊ ECO has released its #WomenAndCancer report, with recommendations to combat gender disparities in #CancerCare Read the report and join us in our work. 🔗 https://lnkd.in/ekADcQ8b
