🌍𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐲 𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐭 𝐓𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐚🌍 On October 24th and 25th, we had the privilege of conducting a study visit in Tunisia to advance our shared vision of sustainable growth and impactful social change. Our visit included highly productive discussions with our esteemed member, the Chambre de Commerce et d'Industrie deTunis (CCITunis), where we explored their impressive work in international trade, export support, and training. With valuable insights from Tunisia's Ministry of Economy and Finance, we identified opportunities to expand EVBB's presence in Tunisia and strengthen partnerships with local ministries focused on vocational education and training (VET). We also visited our inspiring member Fondation FACE Tunisie, where we saw firsthand the transformative work they are doing to uplift vulnerable communities across Tunisia. FACE Tunisia empowers rural women through entrepreneurship and artisanal crafts, while promoting Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) across local businesses—a powerful approach to advancing social inclusion and gender equality. Additionally, Sonia Degroote shared EVBB’s mission on a national scale through an interview on Tunisia's RTCI radio. The broadcast reached an audience of over 1 million listeners in the French-speaking regions of North Africa, amplifying awareness of EVBB’s work in Tunisia, Europe, and across Africa. 💡 Partnerships like these are essential as we work towards a more inclusive, empowered, and sustainable future for Tunisia and the region. A heartfelt thank you to CCITunis and the FACE Foundation for their warm welcome and commitment to our shared goals. Together, we can create a meaningful impact! 🌱 Read the article on the EVBB page https://lnkd.in/eU-gQDD6 #EVBB #SocialImpact #CSR #VocationalTraining #CommunityEmpowerment #Tunisia #SustainableDevelopment #InternationalPartnerships Lifelong Learning Platform - European Civil Society for Education, Eurocultura, Folkuniversitetet, ENAIP Veneto Internationaler Bund (IB), Campus des métiers et des qualifications, European center for quality Ltd., brainymotion, Hochschule der Wirtschaft für Management, AKMI International, Sveučilište Algebra, ECOLE Enti COnfindustriali Lombardi per l’Education, Mundus, SeRGED Association, UNI- Universum International College, Don Bosco Tech Africa, VET4EU2, European Commission, European Vocational Training Association - EVTA

Bioeconomy Education Workshop - Enabling the transition to a competitive, regenerative, and fair (bio)economy. Building the next union of skills in the bioeconomy🌿 Today we had the opportunity of participating to an exciting hands-on workshop organised by the European Commission - Directorate-General for Research and Innovation on the topic of Bioeconomy Education 🪴 Our opportunity has been that of providing input and the perspective of Vocational Education & Training on the Bioeconomy Strategy, a policy document firstly launched in 2012 and undergoing a thorough revision in order to support the development of relevant skills 📢 Bioeconomy is a crucial ecosystem across the European economy. It covers strategic sectors such as agriculture, food industry and sustainable use of biological resources in general. Bioeconomy is in fact a system bringing together a plethora of actors: universities, research centers, industry and policymakers. It is expected that over 1 million new jobs will become available until 2030 ⭐ Thanks to the coordination of the colleagues from the European Commission, approximately 50 participants from all over Europe convened in Brussels to discuss challenges, opportunities and practical actions on how education can move closer and closer to the needs of the bioeconomy 🤝 Our contribution has been proactive & detailed, thanks to the pitch of our Secretary General, Theodor Grassos, as well as the participation of our Member from France - CMQ BIOECOACADEMY which, from Reims, implements a great variety of impactful activities for the high-quality training of future and existing bioeconomy professionals ⭕🌱 #evbb #bioeconomy #vet #greenskills #sustainabilityeducation #futureofwork #innovationineducation
