Creating an inclusive future together! Last week, we proudly hosted a workshop to foster an inclusive working environment where every EVS team member has the opportunity to thrive. The event was held as part of the European Week of Employment for People with Disabilities, underscoring our commitment to diversity and accessibility in the workplace.   To make this workshop even more impactful, we invited our sponsored athlete and two-time Paralympic gold medalist, Maxime Carabin, to share his inspiring journey. His stories of determination and success were a powerful reminder of the strength that comes from embracing different perspectives.   To add a hands-on experience, Maxime organized a wheelchair exercise, allowing EVS team members to step into the shoes (or wheels!) of wheelchair users. This activity deepened our understanding of the challenges faced daily by many and sparked important conversations about how we can create a more inclusive environment.   Don't miss the highlights! A year of celebrations with Family & Friends! CoderDojo4Girlz at EVS HQ! 👧🤖 Last Saturday, we had the pleasure of hosting the 2024 edition of CoderDojo4Girlz at our Liège headquarters, as part of our ongoing sponsorship of CoderDojo Belgium. For 8 years, we’ve proudly supported this ASBL, which organizes free programming activities for children and teenagers across Belgium and around the world, with the help of dedicated volunteers. This year, we welcomed girls aged 7 to 17 for a day of creativity and learning! With the guidance of 20 volunteers—many of whom were EVS team members—the girls dove into coding and scratching sessions, learning the ins and outs of how to create simple video games, robots and automated Lego constructions.
