𝗠𝗼𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗶𝘁 𝗲𝗻 𝘃𝗲𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗱 – 𝗠𝗼𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗲́ 𝗲𝘁 𝘀𝗲́𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗲́ NL | Deze sensibiliseringsactie van het opvangcentrum in Kapellen had een dubbel doel: de bewoners bewust maken van veiligheid op de openbare weg en de buurtbewoners de inspanningen tonen die gedaan werden door het opvangcentrum om de veiligheid van eenieder te verhogen. Un double objectif : sensibiliser les bénéficiaires sur la sécurité sur la voie et montrer au voisinage les efforts mis en place par le centre pour la sécurité.

Daarom werkt Fedasil al enkele jaren aan meer kindvriendelijke opvangcentra, onder begeleiding van het Kenniscentrum Gezinswetenschappen van de Odisee hogeschool en met de steun het Europees Fonds voor Asiel, Migratie en Integratie (AMIF). 𝗧𝗛𝗔𝗠𝗠: 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗰𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 ✈️ In October, Fedasil colleagues Lin & Isabelle flew to Tunisia as part of the THAMM Enabel project. 🛠 This project contributes to strengthening employability in Tunisia and Morocco, in particular by promoting capacity building and legal and secure pathways towards Belgium of talents in bottleneck professions. 🤝 In collaboration with Enabel, Fedasil is organising Belgian Cultural Orientation (BELCO) workshops as part of this project. These BELCO workshops help talented people willing to enter the Belgian labour market to make an informed decision. 🔗 Fedasil informs not only potential talents with these BELCO workshops, but also advisers of the public employment services in Morocco and Tunisia who prepare and guide talents towards international labour markets, such as Belgium and as was the case during this BELCO workshop in Tunisia for around thirty counsellors from the Agence Nationale pour l’Emploi et le Travail Indépendant "ANETI". 💡 As Isabelle explains, « The BELCO workshops are also very useful for these counsellors, as they provide them with more background information on different aspects of life in Belgium. This way, they have more tools to better guide and advise interested talents towards opportunities on the Belgian labour market. It was therefore with great enthusiasm that the large group of participants took part in this two-day session. 🤝 The THAMM Enabel project is funded by the European Union and implemented by Enabel, the Belgian Development Agency, in partnership with the Moroccan and Tunisian Ministries of Employment and their respective employment agencies, as well as with the employment agencies of the Flemish, Walloon and Brussels regions. #THAMM #EnablingChange #JointImplementation

NL │ Vandaag zijn de diensten van Fedasil gesloten wegens Koningsdag. Opvang vragen of een verzoek registreren bij Dienst Vreemdelingenzaken is op maandag 18 november opnieuw mogelijk. FR │En raison de la fête du Roi, les services de Fedasil sont fermés aujourd’hui. Il sera à nouveau possible de demander l’accueil ou d’enregistrer sa demande auprès de l’Office des étrangers le lundi 18 novembre. 

𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐋𝐎𝐒𝐑𝐀 𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐉𝐄𝐂𝐓: 𝐅𝐀𝐂𝐈𝐋𝐈𝐓𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐑𝐄𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐍 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐑𝐄𝐈𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐆𝐑𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐈𝐍 𝐀𝐑𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐈𝐀 Fedasil's International Relations department visited Armenia this week as part of the Local Ownership for Sustainable Reintegration in Armenia (LOSRA) project, developed by the Return and Reintegration Facility (RRF). The RRF is currently chaired in tandem by Belgium and Sweden, supported by co-chair Germany. Tasked with helping European member states with their return and reintegration policies, the RRF offers financial and operational support with the help of several partners, including Fedasil, which is responsible for assisting and supporting these various initiatives, such as the LOSRA project. Open to several European Member States, including Belgium, LOSRA offers complementary support to the reintegration assistance provided by other national and European programmes, such as the European Reintegration Programme (EURP) implemented by Frontex. The LOSRA project provides advice and in-kind-services (professional equipment, housing, medical and/or psychological support) to migrants returning to Armenia. In Armenia, Fedasil and some colleagues of other member states were able to meet with the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs (MoLSA) and the regional office of the International Centre for Migration Policy Development (ICMPD), which is the project's implementing partner. They also visited the Return Counsellors desk and talked to beneficiaries of the project. ‘It's thanks to the assistance and equipment provided that I've been able to develop my own business today,’ explains Arsen, a carpenter who returned to Armenia after migrating to Germany. Under the sign of exchange and sharing, this observation mission will have enabled the various players to assess the current challenges of the LOSRA project, which will come to an end in 2025, and to reflect on future prospects.

🤝 𝐎𝐧𝐭𝐦𝐨𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐠 - 𝐣𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧é𝐞 𝐝𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐞 🤝 𝐍𝐋│ "Wat kunnen we lokaal doen om mensen zonder wettig verblijf, vooral de meest kwetsbaren, beter te ondersteunen?" Met deze vraag opende Vital Marage van de gemeente Anderlecht, CONEX-partner van Fedasil, vandaag de ontmoetingsdag in Brussel. Meer dan 60 organisaties kwamen samen voor de jaarlijkse ontmoetingsdag “migranten zonder wettig verblijf”, georganiseerd door Fedasil, IOM Belgium and Luxembourg, Caritas International.be en Anderlecht Prévention/Preventie. De focus lag op drie essentiële thema’s: gezondheid, huisvesting en administratieve status. Met dank aan Cover, FTM van het OCMW van de Stad Brussel , opvangcentrum Amran en Sister's House (Plateforme Citoyenne - BELREFUGEES - Burgerplatform) en professor Thomas Swerts voor de boeiende workshops! 💡 Wist je dat het CONEX-programma van Fedasil zich, via en met een netwerk van lokale partners, richt op het bereiken, informeren en begeleiden van migranten zonder wettig verblijf en hen zo helpt oriënteren naar een duurzame toekomst? 𝐅𝐑│ "Que pouvons-nous faire au niveau local pour mieux soutenir les personnes en situation irrégulière, en particulier les plus vulnérables ?" C'est avec cette question que Vital Marage de la commune d'Anderlecht, partenaire CONEX avec Fedasil, a ouvert la journée de rencontre organisée aujourd'hui à Bruxelles. Plus de 60 organisations étaient présentes lors de cette journée de rencontre annuelle "Migrants en situation irrégulière", organisée par Fedasil, l'OIM, Caritas International et Anderlecht preventie/ prévention. L'accent a été mis sur trois thèmes essentiels : la santé, l'hébergement et le statut administratif. Merci à Cover, au FTM du CPAS de la Ville de Bruxelles, au centre d'accueil Amran et à Sister's House (Plateforme Citoyenne - BELREFUGEES - Plateforme citoyenne) ainsi qu'au professeur Thomas Swerts pour les ateliers inspirants ! 💡 Saviez-vous que le programme CONEX de Fedasil, avec le soutien d'un réseau de partenaires locaux, vise à atteindre, informer et accompagner les migrants en situation irrégulière pour les orienter vers un avenir durable ?

Comme les hivers précédents, Fedasil peut temporairement bénéficier de différents sites pour héberger des demandeurs d’asile (généralement inoccupés en dehors de la saison touristique). Le centre de Bredene sera ouvert jusque mi-mars 2025. Quant au centre de Theux, il sera ouvert jusque mi-avril 2025. Net als voorgaande winters kan Fedasil tijdelijk gebruik maken van verschillende locaties om asielzoekers onder te brengen (doorgaans ongebruikt buiten het toeristische seizoen). 𝗖𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗱𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗡𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 Fedasil's arrival centre (Petit-Château) and the registration centre of the Immigration Office (Rue Belliard) will be closed on Friday 1 November, Monday 11 and Friday 15 November 2024. Persons seeking international protection will not be able to register their request or apply for reception on those days. The Fedasil Info Point will also be closed on those days.
