Founded by a team with impressive backgrounds (ABB, GSK, KU Leuven), Foodiebotics offers solutions that reduce costs, labor shortages, and food waste while ensuring consistent, high-quality meals. 🌟 From Academia to Entrepreneurship: My Robotics Journey 🌟 I'm thrilled to share my journey from academia to the private sector, and eventually, to becoming an entrepreneur. It's been a path filled with innovation, challenges, and remarkable experiences. After earning my degree 🎓in Mechanical Engineering, I spent several years in academia, immersed in research and teaching. The academic environment was intellectually stimulating, but I found myself yearning for a different kind of challenge—one that would allow me to apply my skills in a practical setting. This led me to transition into the private sector. During this time, I began to see a gap in the food service industry that could be addressed with robotics and automation. I envisioned a world where technology could enhance efficiency, safety, and sustainability🍃in food preparation and service. This idea inspired me to take the leap into entrepreneurship. Today, I'm proud to say that I founded my own company together with Federico Ulloa Rios and Cristian Vergara dedicated to developing robotics solutions for the food service industry. Our system is designed to streamline kitchen processes, reduce waste, and create a safer work environment for food service professionals. It's been an incredible journey so far, with plenty of learning and growth along the way.
