Last Friday, we came together one last time this year at Het Eilandje in Antwerp, and what a day it was! 💪  We kicked things off with coffee and pastries, followed by our last business update of 2024. The team then dove into their R&D projects, making the most of the day. To top it off had an epic drone race 🛸 (no crashes, we promise 😉). The day ended with delicious Lebanese food at Little Beirut – the perfect way to celebrate a productive year. Throwback to two incredible days when Zico Van Ongeval, Damien Mesure, Wim V. and Geert Van De Walle worked on an exciting case study during the BE FHIR-A-THON! This joint initiative by the eHealth Platform, Vitalink (Department of Care), the Brussels Health Network, the Réseau Santé Wallon, Agoria and the Federal Public Service of Public Health brought together over 200 professionals to enhance the efficiency of health data exchange. During the event, they delved into the world of vaccination data and worked on implementing flows to read, create, and update vaccination records for healthcare professionals like GPs, nurses, and hospitals, using the FHIR Implementation Guide.
