A survey of over 8,000 British motorists conducted by the AA (UK's largest provider of roadside assistance) has revealed a number of interesting points. Motorists indicate they want: ✔️ signage pointing to public chargers to be made green ✅, with EVs already displaying a flash of green on number plates since 2020 to tell them apart from petrol, diesel and hybrid cars on the road and to indicate their zero tailpipe emissions. Existing signs feature the same traditional blue parking symbol 🅿️ that's been in place for decades and therefore do not stand out. ✔️ locations to use petrol station-style totem pole pricing boards 📱showing the cost per kWh to boost the appeal of switching to EVs 🔋. Although government regulation does not explicitly require charging operators to provide pricing signage in the UK, EG Group became in 2021 the first chargepoint operator to introduce forecourt poles with per unit charging prices at its ultra-rapid chargers. ✔️ charge point locations being included in built-in navigation for petrol and diesel cars 🚘. The study also examined potential changes to charging infrastructure that would help to curb widespread public concerns about range anxiety, which is one of the major hurdles for mass EV adoption. If You belive everything is possible.

💯 👌 Zapraszamy do Strzeszowic! https://lnkd.in/d2Vryd2b

  • Deloitte has been exploring key trends impacting a rapidly evolving global mobility ecosystem for over a decade. In the 2025 edition of their Global Automotive Consumer Study - based on the survey of more than 31,000 consumers in 30 countries - this year's findings highlight a nuanced landscape in which consumer expectations are being redefined by the convergence of preferences for internal combustion engines (ICE) 🚘, the shift to electric vehicles (EVs) 🔋, the adoption of connected technology 📲 and Mobility as a Service (MaaS). The study provides important insights that can help companies prioritize and better position their business strategies. Some key insights: ✔️ Despite the push for vehicle electrification, many consumers remain hesitant to embrace all-electric vehicles due to affordability concerns, limited public charging infrastructure, and perceived battery safety risks. ✔️ Shifting regulatory perspectives on autonomous technology could facilitate the deployment of self-driving vehicle fleets. However, safety concerns persist. ✔️ The integration of AI into vehicle systems to support autonomous features is widely regarded as beneficial, especially in Asia-Pacific markets. ✔️ Consumers believe vehicle connectivity is important. However, skepticism about data security remains prevalent, especially in Western markets. ✔️ MaaS continues to gain appeal, particularly younger consumers would be willing to give up vehicle ownership in favor of a MaaS solution.  ✔️ Preferences for traditional liquid fuel vehicles go hand in hand with growing interest in electric vehicles, while connectivity and MaaS solutions point to transformative changes.
