🔌 Imtech is contributing to the construction of the all-electric hospital of the future! We are proud to support the development of the new all-electric AZ Jan Portaels hospital in Vilvoorde, a first in the Belgian healthcare sector. This sustainable building makes full use of renewable energy sources such as solar power and underground energy storage via an ATES (Aquifer Thermal Energy Storage) system. Additionally, heat recovery and rainwater reuse are optimally integrated. With the smart implementation of modern technology and advanced medical equipment, healthcare professionals are efficiently supported, giving them more time to focus on what truly matters: the patient. 🚑 Together, we are creating a future-proof, sustainable, and innovative healthcare environment. Mobilis in Anderlecht for D'IETEREN IMMO 🚗 Imtech contributed to Mobilis, an impressive multifunctional building in Anderlecht. With a gross area of 35,000 m², this sustainable building is designed to flexibly accommodate the changing needs of various users, including offices, coworking spaces, and showrooms. Imtech implemented advanced HVAC and sanitary installations. The installed system, consisting of a geothermal installation combined with an active concrete slab structure, ensures efficient and precise temperature control throughout the building. Bio-accelerators for KU Leuven 🧪 Imtech has played a crucial role in the realization of Bio-Incubator 4 and 5 for KU Leuven, two advanced laboratory buildings at the Arenberg Science Park in Leuven. These are designed to create a state-of-the-art environment for biotechnological research, supported by robust HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems. Our installed systems, including 4-pipe heat pumps and lab control valves, provide precise control of temperature and airflow. With robust buffer tanks for both heating and cooling and smart flow control systems, we ensure reliable and efficient operation of the research facilities. 🔬 The result? A Memorable Visit to Pairi Daiza: Collaborating on a Remarkable New Project with Imtech Yesterday, I had the pleasure of visiting Pairi Daiza, one of the most extraordinary zoological parks in Europe. This visit was particularly special as it allowed me to connect with the dedicated team from Imtech, who are contributing to an incredible new project within the park. As we work alongside Pairi Daiza to bring this project to life, I was eager to see the progress firsthand and to spend some time with the talented individuals who are making it happen. The site tour was not only inspiring but also reaffirmed the value of collaboration, innovation, and meticulous planning—values that Imtech holds in high regard. Walking through the construction site, I was struck by the scale and ambition of what we are collectively striving to achieve. This project is not just about adding another structure to the park; it’s about creating a space that will enhance the visitor experience, contribute to conservation efforts, and harmonize with the unique and magical environment that Pairi Daiza offers. Seeing our team in action—overcoming challenges, implementing cutting-edge solutions, and working seamlessly with the other stakeholders—filled me with immense pride. It's clear that everyone involved is passionate about this project and is committed to delivering nothing short of excellence. I would like to extend my deepest gratitude to the entire project team at Imtech for their hard work and dedication.
