Dear Colleagues, We are pleased to announce the next International Dairy Federation (IDF) & ISO - International Organization for Standardization Analytical Week 2025 will take place from 31 March to 4 April in Anand, the dairy capital of India, in conjunction with the annual conference of the ICAR-International Committee for Animal Recording. The National Dairy Development Board (NDDB) will host the joint events. The week-long event is the annual meeting of dairy analytical experts who develop the joint IDF/ISO standards for milk and milk products. It is a key opportunity to network, discuss sector needs and challenges, and exchange insights with testing manufacturers on the latest developments. While the business meetings are reserved for IDF and ISO members, the symposium is open to all dairy laboratory managers, dairy scientists, and analytical professionals. This is a prime occasion to network and exchange ideas on the latest analytical solutions and new initiatives. This year, the symposium will be held jointly with ICAR and will present the standardization activities of ICAR, IDF, ISO, and the Indian dairy sector. Additionally, there will be a discussion panel on the challenges and opportunities for harmonizing and standardizing analytical methods in the region. Following this, ICAR will host a technical session on milk analysis, also open to all participants. Technical tours will be organized on 4-5 April 2025. Further information and fees will be communicated shortly.
