✅ New European Commission: approved! Today the European Parliament voted on the new college of commissioners who will be proposing EU policies for the next five years. The Commission can now begin its term on 1 December. With the Commission in place, the process to select the new EU executive - that started when you voted for your representatives in the European elections in June - comes to an end. Over the next five years, Parliament will continue to examine the work of the Commission and other EU institutions to hold them to account and make sure that policies improve the lives of EU citizens.
