From inspiring discussions to meaningful connections. Huge thanks Business Organization for Students, BOS, for hosting the event! Together, we are shaping the future of entrepreneurship. 🚀 Check out the full recap below! #PaintTomorrowTogether! #JEEAutumnConference2024 #Entrepreneurship #Innovation #Leadership #FutureTogether #JuniorEnterprises
Two weeks ago, I had the amazing opportunity to represent JE Europe (European Confederation of Junior Enterprises (JE Europe) ) at our mandate’s very first international conference the Autumn Conference 2024, held in Bucharest, Romania. ✨ Organised by the incredible team at Business Organization for Students (BOS) the event brought together 200 Junior Entrepreneurs under the theme “Painting Tomorrow Together.” It was an unforgettable few days filled with connection, collaboration, and inspiration! One of the highlights? We had the privilege of hearing from Armina Dobrica the Founder of Rookeyz, and Thibaut Boidin, Managing Director - CEO of HEINEKEN ROMANIA. Their stories of resilience and reinvention were a reminder of the growth that comes from stepping out of our comfort zones. Special thanks to Iulia Ramona Chiriac, Head of the European Commission Representation to Bucharest, for her empowering words and for showcasing the EU initiatives that align with our mission! But most of all, what stood out was the people. The energy, talent, and passion of everyone there were inspiring. Meeting peers from across Europe, exchanging ideas, and imagining what we can achieve together was nothing short of motivating!! 🤩 #JEEAC #JuniorEntrepreneurs #JEEurope #YoungLeaders

Jonis Reale and Lucia Raffaele represented us at the Youth Policy Academy Workshop #YEPA, showcasing the passion, innovation, and professionalism that define Junior Entrepreneurs across Europe 🇪🇺 💡
This week, I had the privilege to attend with my dear colleague Jonis Reale the Youth Entrepreneurship Policy Academy #YEPA workshop in Vienna, organized by the OECD - OCDE and the European Commission as part of the Entrepreneurship Summit: Innovation & Transformation, an event with representatives from 20 countries, each from the field of entrepreneurship education from ministries and educational institutions. YEPA is an initiative of OECD - OCDE focused on equipping policymakers and stakeholders with tools to empower young entrepreneurs, addressing the barriers they face and unlocking their potential. This was my first in-person workshop with YEPA after three thought-provoking online sessions on building entrepreneurial networks, the role of AI in youth entrepreneurship and the importance of role models. What made these workshops so impactful wasn’t just the alignment with our goals and the numerous speeches that we had the chance to hear, it was the inspiring people I met and the deep discussion that we made about the current situation on this topic. From young social entrepreneurs pushing boundaries to policymakers striving to bridge the gap between ambition and action, the energy was contagious. A striking fact shared by David Halabisky stayed with me: while 39% of young Europeans (aged 20-29) dream of being self-employed, as shown in recent data, only around 7% actually achieve self-employment. This stark gap highlights the structural barriers and challenges youth face, from access to funding to mentorship opportunities. At the workshop, we explored these barriers and brainstormed actionable solutions with experts and policymakers from across Europe. It’s rare to find spaces where your voice truly matters, but YEPA created just that: a platform to exchange ideas, challenge norms, and work towards a sustainable, innovative Europe. A heartfelt thanks to the organizers especially to Johannes Lindner for making this possible! 🚀 European Confederation of Junior Enterprises (JE Europe) #YouthEntrepreneurship #Innovation #Sustainability #JuniorEnterprises
