𝗔𝗱𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗲𝗰𝗼-𝗯𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗸𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗯𝗶𝗼𝗱𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗶𝗻 𝗕𝗲𝗹𝗴𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗯𝗼𝗿𝘀. 🌊 We are proud to announce that Komatsu is deepening its commitment to environmental sustainability by partnering with Go Ocean, an initiative focused on ocean conservation and restoration. Our collaborative effort with DEME Group & Artes Group and the client agentschap Maritieme Dienstverlening en Kust (MDK) (Maritime Services and Coast Agency), aims to transform Blankenberge’s harbor breakwater into a model of sustainable, nature-inclusive infrastructure. 🐚 Eco blocks are a vital component in sustainable water management and ecosystem restoration projects; they are modular systems that support water retention and improve drainage and filtration processes. This technology is used to enhance rainwater harvesting and water conservation efforts, aligning perfectly with our mission to make a positive environmental impact across both land and sea. 📷 All sponsors were invited to visit the Ecoblocks project at the port of Blankenberge, Belgium in early February. They also had the opportunity to sign their own blocks. Frank Heuts, General Manager HR at Komatsu Europe, attended the event and inscribed our brand promise, “Creating value together,” on an eco-block. These words extend beyond our industry, reflecting our commitment to supporting a sustainable society for all.
