This was the 2024 edition of ‘Designers to Business’ day! 🤝    Last week, the D2B event took place at MAD Brussels. This special business meeting day, organized annually in collaboration with Belgium is Design, Wallonie-Bruxelles Design Mode (WBDM), Flanders DC and MAD Brussels, connects talented Belgian designers with international editors. It’s a special chance for designers to showcase their work and explore new opportunities for collaboration with global companies.     Over the years, D2B’s networking has facilitated conversations between more than 60 international brands and designers, opening up new avenues for growth and creative partnerships. The aim of these meetings is to encourage open dialogue, enhance mutual understanding, and lay the groundwork for potential future collaborations.    For this edition we have welcomed several international names to Brussels: La Boite concept (France), KAAN Architecten (France), Extremis (Belgium), Breccia Medicea dell'Acquasanta (Italy), OliveLab (Italy) and Heymat (Norway). Looking back at the seventh edition of the Belgian Fashion Awards! ❤️⁠ ⁠ ⁠ Last Thursday, we celebrated Belgian fashion during the award ceremony of the Belgian Fashion Awards 2024! The ceremony was presented by our wonderful host Emma Moortgat. After an interesting conversation between Daniel Rodgers, Florentina Leitner and Lennert Madou, the 8 awards within the different categories were handed out.⁠ There was a beautiful food installation with fingerfood by Dindins in a setting of tableware and furniture by Options Belgium. Tasty cocktails were served by Martini. And delicious mocktails by GIMBER. This year’s exhibition, curated by MAD Brussels, will focus on the theme of a design interior with a distinctly Brussels spirit. Initiated by the Brussels Region, the Brussels House is a key venue for promoting the city’s culture, tourism, and business abroad. Since its opening in February 2023 in Milan’s Porta Nuova district, it has become a central showcase for Brussels' talent.
