About us

The Mission of Norway to the European Union represents the Norwegian Government in Brussels and promotes its policies and positions vis-à-vis the EU. The Mission employes around 60 staff members, with representatives from nearly all Norwegian minsitries, reflecting the broad scope of Norway’s relations with the EU. It is led by: - Anders H. Eide, Ambassador to the EU, Head of Mission - Jørn Gloslie, Ambassador to Belgium, Deputy Head of Mission Each year, the Mission receives 9 000+ visitors, ranging from school classes and student groups to business delegations and parliamentary committees. The Mission also hosts a broad range of seminars and conferences at Norway House, often in cooperation with the EU institutions or think tanks in Brussels.
