  • We've just rolled out a new update for #Artisto, and it will solve a major headache for those of you trying to get a #Dante card with significant IO count (up to 512x512) running smoothly on #Linux. The Marian Clara E card is an option, but the Linux drivers have historically had some... challenges. Thanks to our tenacious development team (huge kudos to Simon Bausière), we've been able to troubleshoot these issues and implement a reliable solution directly in #Artisto. This fix is also fully compatible with our native software implementation of #ST2110, and both audio interfaces can now be used concurrently and transparently for the end user. But that's not all! This update also comes with some great additional features: - DTMF support for our #SIP implementation - Dry/wet mix parameters for our compressor node - Interoperability improvements for #NMOS - ... We're constantly listening to your #feedback and working to make Artisto even more powerful and flexible. Let us know what you think of the new features, and stay tuned for more exciting updates! #Broadcast #audio #Dante #ST2110 #Linux #Artisto #AudioInnovation Audinate

    • Audio & Dante pipelines can now easily be set up on Linux thanks to Artisto's latest update.
  • Last week's #Leaders' #Briefing from the DPP highlighted the urgent need for #broadcasters to #evolve rapidly, along with the significant challenges posed by #change management. These conversations reaffirmed what we’ve seen throughout the industry: adapting to software-centric workflows is no longer optional to reach more flexibility and efficiency; it’s essential. Yet, the path forward is often unclear, especially when it comes to bridging technology and team readiness. Earlier this year, we released a white paper addressing these exact challenges. It’s packed with real-world #use #cases, actionable insights, and practical #steps to help broadcasters move faster and more smoothly towards software-based production workflows. Given the relevance of this topic, we thought it was the perfect time to share it with the industry once again. ⬇️ We’d love to hear your thoughts: how are you tackling these challenges in your organization? Let’s keep the conversation going! #broadcast #media #innovation #production #audio

  • Day 2, final day of the Leaders Briefing. Thanks DPP for the very inspirational sessions and the impeccable organisation! We heard you doubled the size of the venue, maybe you need to double it again next year because it was very crowded! As for the takeaways of the event, we are glad to see the industry is largely sharing our vision for digital-first, adaptable, iterative (production) workflows!

Day 2 Takeaways from the #DPP Leaders' Briefing ⬇️ The conversations today built on yesterday’s insights, diving deeper into how broadcasters can navigate the challenges of becoming truly #digital-first. Here are three key challenges — and opportunities — from Day 2: 1. #Automation is a low-hanging fruit for #efficiency. Building on yesterday’s discussions around #AI, today’s sessions emphasized the value of automating operational, production, and distribution processes, aided by AI. These efficiency gains are readily achievable, with tangible benefits achievable in the near term. But even as AI enables content production at scale, the ultimate differentiator remains #human creativity. Technology is the tool; the magic still comes from us. 2. Build a #culture of continuous #change. Change management was once again a hot topic, with a focus on creating #lean, adaptable organizations. Speakers highlighted the need for iterative evolution, supported by diverse new profiles while leveraging existing expertise. On the tech side, the transition to interconnected, #software-centric workflows tailored for digital media is crucial. A standout quote: the CTO is no longer the Chief Technology Officer, they’re the Chief Continuous Transformation Officer. Change won’t happen overnight, but it’s non-negotiable for staying relevant. 3. One size fits all is over. In the digital age, #diversification is key. #Fandom emerged as a critical topic: moving away from serving the “medium” consumer to engaging specific, segmented audiences with meaningful content. This approach not only keeps broadcasters #relevant, but also unlocks incremental audiences and new, compounding revenue streams. Relevance is about connection with the audience's specific interests. The key message today? Transformation isn’t just about tools and workflows; it’s about fostering the right mindset, empowering creativity, and equipping your organization to adapt to ongoing change. What are your thoughts on these insights? How are you leveraging automation, fostering change, and engaging new audiences in your organization? Let’s exchange ideas—perhaps our expertise and software solutions could support your journey. #broadcast #media #audio

  • Here are some thoughts from the #DPP Leaders' Briefing. These challenges resonate strongly with the motives that pushed us to create On-Hertz. We can assist you in future-proofing and enhancing your production workflows while ensuring your teams remain aligned and engaged. Let's discuss how we can work together! #broadcast #audio #innovation #changeManagement

Day 1 Takeaways from the DPP #Leaders' #Briefing ⬇️ The media industry is at a critical crossroads. Today’s sessions highlighted three key #challenges - and #opportunities - for broadcasters moving to a digital-first world: 1. Change management is the real challenge, not technology. Transitioning to new workflows isn’t just about adopting cutting-edge tools; it’s about creating a vision that teams can rally behind. Success lies in onboarding users with clear, manageable steps that align with their daily work—while ensuring those steps are bold enough to keep pace with change. 2. (Gen) AI is like a 10-year-old. This analogy struck a chord within the audience: AI shows incredible promise; it can do many things and can be taught to do more. But right now, media companies are turning to AI-assisted models rather than full automation. The potential is immense, but AI still needs significant development to be trusted with "autonomous" mission-critical operations... just like a 10-year-old! 3. Traditional infrastructure isn’t enough anymore. As broadcasters transform into digital-first media companies, #software-driven infrastructure is no longer optional; it’s essential for achieving #efficiency and #flexibility. However, this shift demands not only new tech but also new expertise. Building the right teams—perhaps even by bringing in talent from outside the industry—will be key to success. The path forward is challenging but full of opportunity. What’s clear is that success requires balancing innovation with thoughtful change management, ensuring that people, not just technology, are at the heart of transformation. Something else is clear: time is running out, so better get started soon! I’d love to hear your thoughts. How are you navigating these challenges in your own organizations? The need for trusted partners was also extensively discussed. Maybe something we can do together? #broadcast #media PS: what an amazing venue!
