🌟 Recap of Value4Pack Pitch event – Cooperation Proposal #17: Reco2Bio - home compostable tea eggs (Belgium) 💡 Discover groundbreaking innovations and connect with changemakers!  Value4Pack, we hosted an inspiring online Pitch Event, featuring 30 innovative proposals aimed at shaping a sustainable food packaging future. Each idea sparked exciting conversations, and now we’re thrilled to dive deeper! Over the coming weeks, we’ll spotlight these proposals and the key questions and answers they inspired. Today, we’re featuring an exciting innovation of Reco2Bio: home compostable bio-based tea eggs. Made from sugarcane fibers (an agricultural by-product) or cellulose, this alternative to traditional tea bags are designed to be home-compostable alongside organic waste like coffee grounds and tea leaves. 🌱 ✨ Where They Are Now: Reco2Bio’s innovative solution is concept-ready, with prototypes developed (TRL 3–4). This innovation builds further on their previous success – a home compostable bagasse coffee filter, showcasing their commitment to sustainable packaging solutions. 🚀 What’s Next?
