Wist je dat de helft van alle frietjes 🍟 in Europa in gesloten tunnels met water en aardappels door snijmessen worden ‘geschoten’ via centrifugaalpompen die in Diksmuide worden gemaakt? Bij Packo Inox Ltd., als Belgische fabrikant onderdeel van de Verder Group, bouwen ze dagelijks op maat gemaakte centrifugaalpompen, van klein tot groot, bestemd voor het verpompen van vloeistoffen in een gesloten systeem in de voedingsindustrie, pharma en andere. En zowat alle zijn voor de export bestemd! Dat het dus alweer een ferm bedrijfsbezoek was, ism Voka - Kamer van Koophandel West-Vlaanderen. Gepassioneerde mensen, een verhaal van maatwerk, vakmanschap én smart thinking in alle processen. 🔧 Weetjes? Dit maakt Packo zo bijzonder! ✔ Maatwerk als standaard: elke pomp wordt made-to-order geproduceerd, met een levertijd van 2 tot 12 weken. Geen stock, want maatwerk is dé USP van Packo. 🖥 Data-driven productie: klanten stellen hun pomp samen via een eigen computerprogramma, vanaf dat model wordt alles volledig op maat geproduceerd. Een strak ERP-systeem en érg slimme koppen, you tell me. 🤖 Efficiënte logistiek: 8000 picking orders per jaar, ondersteund door AGV Wally, die zelfstandig onderdelen verzamelt. Strak ingerichte magazijnen en een vlotte toelevering doen de rest in optimalisatie van tijd, budget en energie. 💡 Ambacht én automatisering: lassen, slijpen, polijsten, assembleren, monteren én testen – alles gebeurt in-house door een team van 100 technici, waaronder 35 lassers.
