Last week i was in #Lisbon for the #websummit. In this kind of fair you usually eat some snacks to "keep it going". I was attracted by a product #oreo #double #cream that is sold a bit everywhere and using PingPrice™ app and website search I checked pricing in other countries. The winner is #France. There seem to be a pattern: "The bigger the country the lower the price". Do you agree? What do you think is the most important factor that influence the pricing in these countries ? (again it's the same product, usually in the cheapest online store) Volume? Geography? Competition? Market maturity?

I love #Chocolate....for the moment it's still affordable...but what about the future? Becoming a luxury for sure! One of the good indicator of chocolate prices is the Callebout Callet Noir 2,5kg from Barry Callebaut Group used by many for all kind of preparations. What does Colruyt Laagste Prijzen really mean by best price in your region? I guess i am sure i will always pay the best price for my product, that's how we all understand it no? So if you live in #liège and you usually shop in #herstal or in #ans well better do your own due dilligence and not rely on what is claimed. In #Herstal you pay 56% (10,14€ vs 6,5€) more than in #Ans for Hapkin beer, how is that possible? Distance between both shops 8,5km. And yes there are different competitors around, but isn'it the same region? #alwayscompareprices

Again another example of #Ecological #inconsistency Refill your bottle of Tahiti vanilla shampoo (300ml) with a "recharge" (500ml) is a good idea ecologically. But how is it possible that Carrefour Belgium is pricing the recharge at 8,98€/l although the plastic bottle is priced 7,37 €/l. What do you think a customer will do? Yesterday i had the opportunity to talk on RTBF on Les Pigeons, a consumer programme, I talked about PingPrice™ and our new dashboards available on our website...blablabla.. But.....That's not important.... Yesterday I really had the chance to meet a wonderful person that helped me think about what's important in life as well as the famous "resilience" quality that every entrepreneur should / would like to have. A real lesson given by a little girl that is 13 years old and that suffered cancer on a knee and had to be amputated and is now fighting for a prothesis simply to redo sports and swimming.
