Our mission: monitoring cardiac performance anywhere, anytime Our ultimate goal is to develop smart, non-invasive, and wireless devices for accurate, continuous monitoring of vital body functions. This breakthrough will create new opportunities for monitoring in both hospital and home settings. Our wearable ultrasound patches will enable 24/7 tracking during all activities, such as walking, sitting, and sleeping. Non-invasive and continuous cardiac output monitoring Our flexible patch consists of an array of ultrasound transducers. After sending an ultrasound pulse into the patient’s body, the reflected ultrasound signals are processed by electronic systems to yield images of the inner organs. A 3D image of the heart is generated. Our smart algorithm then uses this 3-dimensional data to reconstruct the left ventricle contour and directly calculate LV volumes and related parameters such as cardiac output. These parameters - allowing for early detection of heart function failure - are displayed on the companion device's monitor. #CardiacMonitoring #HeartMonitoring #UltrasoundPatch
