🌍 Yesterday at #WSF2024, leading researcher organizations - Eurodoc, ICoRSA, Marie Curie Alumni Association , and Young Academy of Europe -came together to discuss the vital role of researchers in science diplomacy. Researcher associations organising two side events at the World Science Forum on academic career precarity and science diplomacy! The events, organised by the European Council of Doctoral Candidates and Junior Researchers (Eurodoc), the International Consortium of Research Staff Associations (ICoRSA), the Marie Curie Alumni Association (MCAA), and the Young Academy of Europe (YAE), delve into how researchers can effectively engage in science diplomacy and how to make careers in academia more attractive and sustainable. Key points: -  Eurodoc, ICoRSA, MCAA, and YAE organise joint side events on November 19th and 20th as part of the World Science Forum 2024 held in Budapest, Hungary. - The sessions focus on researcher career precarity and sustainability as well as science diplomacy. - Among the speakers of the sessions are representatives from UNESCO and the European Commission. #YAE #MCAA #ICORSA #EURODOC
