#ClimateNeutrality in the EU by 2050 Yes! But how? "The key is moving from linear to circular consumption", says Maira Madala at Knauf Insulation. As public affairs manager, Maira brings a sharp political lens to the #sustainability challenges we face. In her words: "Decoupling economic growth from linear resource use and shifting to #CircularSystems is key. Resulation is a pioneer in making this happen." But how do we turn this vision into action? "We need the right conditions to ensure #CircularSolutions don't remain exceptions but become the new norm": ➤ progressive landfill ban for construction products in Europe ➤ harmonise waste regulations across Europe ➤ incentivise financial models like EPR systems At Resulation we don't talk in circles. We make mineral wool circular. Find out how at resulation.eu
About us
We don’t talk in circles. We make mineral wool circular. Since landfill dumping of perfectly recyclable glass wool has no future, Resulation® is on a mission to collect and recycle the mineral wool into an infinitely reusable raw material. This is how we close the loop, for a better world.

A couple of years ago, we launched our glass wool recycling unit in Visé, Belgium. Why? Because Mineral wool is infinitely recyclable without loss of quality. Resulation’s mission? To send zero waste to landfill by 2025, by transforming mineral wool waste into high-quality insulation materials, thus contributing to a circular economy. Join the #RecycleClub! ♻️ #GlassMineralWool is an excellent insulation material, but unfortunately waste often goes to landfills. For the Netherlands, Knauf Insulation now offers a sustainable alternative! 🇳🇱💪 This is how 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝘆𝗰𝗹𝗲𝗰𝗹𝘂𝗯 works: 🚚 Knauf Insulation collects glass wool waste separately. 🏭 Resulation recycles it into new glass mineral wool. For now, the project focuses on Dutch 𝘱𝘳𝘦𝘧𝘢𝘣𝘳𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘴𝘦 𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘶𝘧𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦𝘳𝘴 due to their high-volume processing of insulation material, but we aim to expand in the near future. The Recycleclub offers 3 collection solutions: 1️⃣ 𝗦𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲 → plastic bags, an easy step to start with. 2️⃣ 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗰𝘁 → baling press, suitable for a larger volumes 3️⃣ 𝗕𝘂𝗹𝗸 → baling container, for XL volumes of cutting waste Visit #KnaufInsulation's website for more information → https://lnkd.in/ek5iH-Mk

These guys aren't wasting any time. 👷♂️ Baudelet Environnement is a French company collecting and recycling 1 million tonnes (!) of waste materials a year. Recently, they started collecting #GlassMineralWool waste for Resulation. Eager on kickstarting this partnership, our colleague Thomas Baguette connected with Julien Tytgat, Pierre Fillebeen, Eric B. and Jean-François Lefebvre at Baudelet Santes. Five #CircularEconomy experts discussing challenges in collecting and recycling glass mineral wool waste. 🤓💬 Both Baudelet and Resulation are part of the 𝗙𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗵 𝗘𝘅𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗲𝗿 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 (𝗘𝗣𝗥) system of VALOBAT, where companies are joining forces to accelerate the recycling of construction waste. ♻️ Follow us for more steps towards a #SustainableFuture #Knauf #Knaufinsulation

What is the difference between Knauf Insulation's traditional glass wool and their new glass wool containing recycled wool? For your construction project? None. They have the same properties: ⭐ quality 🔥 fire resistance 💧 moisture resistance 🎵 acoustic performance 🦺 safety level For the planet? Big difference! ♻️ Less waste sent to landfills 🌍 conserve resources 💎 more recycled mineral wool The more old mineral wool we receive at Visé, the more we can recycle. Would you like to deposit your mineral wool waste? Drop us a line to find out more.

Did you know? ♻️⏳ Resulation has been a member of Denuo, the Belgian federation of the waste and recycling industry, for over a year. 🤝 This membership enables us to collaborate with like-minded companies and specialists who are driving positive change and creating a more sustainable future. Together, we are taking another step towards promoting a circular economy by applying best practices from the recycling sector. 🌎🌿

It's time to put sustainable waste management back on the map! 🌍 Why dump mineral glass wool in a landfill when you can recycle it? That's our message. And we're taking it global! But we can't do it without our valuable local and regional partners. Next stop: Luxembourg. We are delighted to partner up with the largest collector in Luxembourg ,PreZero Lamesch, to convert construction waste into valuable raw materials at our plant in Belgium. Welcome on board PreZero Lamesch ⚓

It's not always easy to tell the difference between glass mineral wool and rock mineral wool, especially if the product has a LOW density! 🪨💎 LOW density rock wool is often sold in rolls and is used for various insulation purposes, such as acoustic and thermal insulation for cladding, ceilings and pipes. To avoid confusion, stick to the grey/green colour to distinguish between materials and always consult the product data sheet for accurate information, if available. 📈📗.
