Last Thursday, we proudly hosted our annual Community Day, where 120 dedicated Reynaers Group colleagues took time out of their regular schedules to support eight incredible non-profit and social organizations. It was a day filled with purpose, as we put our values into action and gave back to the communities we care about.   Our employees were warmly welcomed and had the chance to experience the rewarding feeling of stepping outside of their daily routines to make a tangible difference. The day was a humbling reminder of the impact we can have when we come together for a cause.   A huge thank you to everyone who contributed to making this day such a success! Embracing Sustainability: Our Latest Strategic Pillar in Action Last Friday, we took a significant step forward in our commitment to sustainable action, focusing on our newest strategic pillar: sustainability. As part of our ongoing journey towards 2030, detailed in our sustainability report, Reynaers Group is dedicated to achieving our set objectives. Our aim is not only to make corporate strides in sustainability but also to educate and inspire our employees in a fun and positive way, equipping them with the knowledge to implement sustainable practices at home. Thanks to the support of Story Fwd, we kicked off our Eco Rally event with a bang. Begijn Le Bleu, a renowned storyteller, humorist, and nature enthusiast, provided us with practical tips on how to adopt sustainable practices at home. This session was followed by a collection drive, co-organized by Opnieuw & Co, where we gave a second life to clothing, small electronics and books, directly applying one of Begijn’s practical tips. Through these initiatives, we are making sustainability tangible for our employees and have successfully introduced our latest pillar. Last Thursday was a dynamic day at the Reynaers Campus, where 212 employees actively participated in our annual "Keep Moving Day." The event offered a wide range of activities, from Pilates and Yoga to Playground XL, Rope Skipping, Dance and sports like hockey and football. There was something for everyone, whether they sought a gentle or challenging experience. In addition to physical activities, mental health was a key focus. Veerle Dobbelaere, a former actress and now an ICF Certified Mental Coach, Leadership Coach and Breathworker led mindfulness and breathing sessions. Her sessions provided valuable tips and tricks to improve our breathing and reduce overthinking. It was a moment of calm and reflection amidst the bustling day. This day was not just about wellness and movement but also about celebrating 'our people,' aligning with our strategic pillar 'our people' within the 'Are You In?' company strategy. The activation for this pillar allowed employees to connect with each other and receive a fun keepsake: an 'Are You In?' t-shirt. The day concluded with a refreshing cooldown session, followed by relaxing with delicious mocktails. It was the perfect way to end an energetic and inspiring day. On the 29th, 30th, and 31st of May, around 50 of our colleagues embarked on a special mission: visiting nine different customers in Flanders as part of our renewed business strategy 'Are you in?', emphasising 'customer intimacy'. The purpose of these visits was twofold: 🔔 To give our employees, who typically have less direct contact with customers, the opportunity to experience customer interaction. 🤝 To show our customers that we value and aim to strengthen our relationship with them, not just through our salespeople but with the full support of our broad network. We visited the following customers: Erba, Bruynseels-Vochten, Allivan, Pauwels, Boven Yvo, Dilien, DCS, CS raamconstructies and Aluma.
