🚀 Yesterday, we attended the SESAR Joint Undertaking Annual Conference 2025 in Brussels - what a success!! ✨ #SJUAnnual2025 During the event, we had the opportunity to present the SAFIR-Ready project at the #DigitalSky Marketplace Exhibition and engage in insightful discussions on the future of aviation, #Uspace, and ATM innovation. Here are some key takeaways from the executive roundtable discussions💡that align with the SAFIR Ready project objectives: 🔹 Transport as a public good: the Draghi Report idea was emphasized in the 💺hot seat discussion, highlighting the importance of accessible and efficient air mobility solutions. 🔹 Structured dialogue: Ourania Georgoutsakou (Airlines for Europe (A4E)) highlighted the need for stronger collaboration between industry, the European Commission, and Member States. 🔹 From projects to impact: Andreas Boschen (SESAR Joint Undertaking) emphasized the importance of turning SESAR projects into tangible results. 🔹 Balancing regulation: Filip Cornelis (European Commission) and Jesper Rasmussen (EASA - European Union Aviation Safety Agency) discussed the need for regulation that is both robust and flexible to enable innovation. 🔹 Standardisation & modularisation: Karl Wannenmacher (Frequentis) pointed back to the Draghi Report, stressing the need for industry-wide harmonization. #Uspace, managed by ✈️EASA - European Union Aviation Safety Agency and National Aviation Authorities, is the foundation for safe, efficient operations like #BVLOS, Innovative Air Mobility (IAM), and cargo deliveries. By integrating advanced digital infrastructure, U-space supports situational awareness and traffic management at an unprecedented level.  In the SAFIR Ready, project partner ANRA Technologies provides U-space Service Provider capabilities, supporting automated and safe drone operations. Becoming a USSP requires rigorous certification to deliver critical services such as geo-awareness and flight authorizations. ✅ 🌍ANRA Technologies is in the 20th month of EASA’s certification process, on track to become the world’s first certified USSP.  This milestone reflects our partner's commitment to safety, innovation, and driving the evolution of a secure and connected global airspace. Our SAFIR-Ready partner ANRA Technologies is committed to providing advanced #Uspace services. 🚀That’s why as a full partner, they validate USSP, SDSP & CISP services for operations in #Belgium and #Estonia, providing U-space services, Supplementary Services & Common Information Services as part of the SAFIR Ready Open Modular Architecture. A UAS operation✈️, leveraging the SAFIR-Ready solution, may traverse airspace volumes both inside and outside U-space airspace. 🚁As part of the SAFIR-Ready demonstration that took place in the framework of the 1st SAFIR-Ready Executive Conference (#SRC2024) in #Belgium in December 2024, project partner ANRA Technologies has developed #Uspace digital services to support the Helicus central Command & Control center and automated Drone Cargo Port. These innovative modules operate together seamlessly following the SAFIR-Ready ‘Open Modular Architecture’. 🌤️✈️ ANRA will continue to provide U-space Service Provider (#USSP), Supplemental Data Service Provider (#SDSP), and Common Information Service Provider (#CISP) capabilities in the upcoming demonstrations in Belgium and Estonia. The SAFIR-Ready Solution supports healthcare🏥 and critical infrastructure by enabling unmanned aviation mission readiness and combining context-driven performance capabilities from all value chain actors interacting through the SAFIR-Ready modular, open, and scalable architecture. At SAFIR-Ready, we are revolutionizing Air Traffic Management (#ATM) by integrating #Uspace data directly into tools used by Air Traffic Controllers (#ATCOs) and vice versa. This cutting-edge solution is designed to optimize human performance and ensure safety for both manned and unmanned aviation in a non-segregated scenario.  This functionality is implemented as part of an Integrated Modular Architecture, a key principle that SAFIR-Ready partners adhere to. 🔍 How does it work?  Our solution combines advanced radar displays with UA operator flight data, offering ATCOs only the most relevant information. In active U-Space Airspace, this data is provided by CISP/USSP.
