  • RESIDENTIAL BUILDING ‘IN DE BRINKE’ - Warendorf, Germany📍 The entire structure was modeled comprehensively in 3D using SCIA Engineer, component by component. As mentioned earlier, the integration of buildings with various apartment sizes and floor plans resulted in challenges for direct load transfer to the foundation. Consequently, numerous intermediate bracings, such as wall-integrated ribs, were necessary. The behavior of the structure is significantly influenced by the different materials (concrete, masonry) and component thicknesses. Traditional calculation methods commonly used in multi-storey construction were insufficient to address these complexities adequately. The ability of the software to perform nonlinear calculations for masonry, which does not withstand tensile forces, proved to be highly beneficial.

  • FAMILY HOUSE - Šumava, Czech Republic📍 The mountain hut features a multi-story design with underground and above ground floors, along with two attics. It has a distinctive mansard roof and hipped roofs, with a maximum floor plan size of approximately 41.6 x 19.3 m. The interior includes various amenities such as a wine shop, cinema, fitness area, spa, bedrooms, bathrooms, and social facilities. The building utilizes reinforced concrete slabs, walls, and ceilings, along with steel and wood elements for the roof structure and conservatories. The combination of these materials and structural components creates a visually appealing and functional space for the mountain hut.

  • GIANT OBSERVATION WHEEL - Worldwide 📍🛞 let's start the weekend with something fun 🥳🤩 This attraction comprises a static support structure and a rotating wheel. The support structure consists of two vertical A-frames holding the main axle at a height of 32 m above ground level. Additionally, there are two inclined support legs attached to the backside of the main axle. The wheel itself has a 56 m outer diameter divided into 20 sectors, accommodating a total of 40 gondolas, with each gondola accommodating up to 10 adult passengers. The static support structure features eight friction drive wheels that rotate the wheel at a speed of 1 revolution per minute. Indurium Engineering

  • Last week, our global Sales, Presales, Partners and Corporate & Field Marketing teams gathered at the Nemetschek Haus in Munich to set the stage for an exciting year ahead. Under the inspiring theme "Unite and Ignite - Stronger Together: Driving Synergy, Delivering Growth," we focused on aligning strategies, sharing key initiatives and building actionable plans for FY25. Our management and product teams provided powerful insights to drive collaboration, innovation and growth across all regions. The energy, ideas and connections made at this event set the tone for what promises to be an outstanding year. With a shared vision and commitment to excellence, we're ready to take on 2025 - together! 🚀 #ALLPLAN #DesigntoBuild #StrongerTogether #NemetschekGroup ALLPLAN Luis Brito

  • MAINTENANCE FACILITY HALL ‘CFL CRM SUD’ - Rodange, Luxembourg📍 The national railway company CFL has undertaken the task of constructing a new maintenance facility in the southern region of the country to address the growing demand for public transportation. With the procurement of a new train series, there will be a substantial increase in the number of trains, necessitating additional capacities for maintenance and night storage. To meet these challenges, a comprehensive plan has been developed, encompassing a new office building with an underground car park for approximately 200 cars, adjacent to a multi-aisle workshop featuring 5 tracks.

  • ARLON 53 BUILDING - Brussels, Belgium📍 The primary challenge was removing the existing columns and replacing them with tie rods (prestressed) that were suspended to the #steel frames in the new levels. These large frames were supported by #columns to the #foundations and used walls in the basements to spread the loads on the existing foundations. Jacks were employed to control the spreading, while tie rods were prestressed by tendons jacked from the bottom flange of the frames. This resulted in non-coincident lines and additional bending moments and shear in the flanges.

  • EUROVEA II TOWER - Bratislava, Slovakia📍 The high-rise #building Eurovea #Tower (Bratislava, Slovakia) has been built as a part of multifunctional Eurovea 2 complex as an expansion of the earlier built Eurovea 1 on the Danube River bank. With the top 168 m above ground level, the “Crown” #structure of 17 m high attracts the high winds from Carpathians and Danube valley in addition to other dead and live loads, temperature and slight earthquake effects.

  • HONEYCOMB SHELL - Ehnen, Luxembourg📍 This project involves the #construction of a Gridshell to cover a Wine-house 🍷 and archaeological remains in a tourist site along the Moselle River in Luxembourg. The Gridshell, inspired by iconic #structures like the Pompidou Center in Metz and the Savill Garden in England, is a lightweight and intricate two-layer #wooden structure spanning the 50 m length of the project. The design incorporates regular holes to form a grid pattern, ensuring three-dimensional #stability through shear stiffness and strategic bracing. Special attention was given to #connections and #foundations, with 42 #micropiles installed in alluvial and floodable soil to ensure stability amidst historical and archaeological elements.🍯 🐝 Hlg Ingénieurs-conseils

  • We still love this project and are so proud that we could be a part of it with Guy Mouton 🤩
