Mais connaissez-vous Seqalis le nouveau nom de Bio.beSA depuis juin 2022 et surtout ses nouvelles activités et développements ? Elle nous a confié un article à diffuser sur nos supports mais avant d'aller plus avant, j'aimerais faire le focus sur ce qu'elle peut apporter au domaine des ATMPs avec ses services hautement techniques et innovants qui font toute la différence. "Dans le domaine des ATMPs (Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products), elle propose un service d’analyse en cytogénomique couvrant le caryotypage classique, la FISH, le SNP microarray et le sWGS (shallow Whole Genome Sequencing). Ces techniques sont très complémentaires car elles permettent, associées les unes aux autres, de mettre en évidence les différents types d’altérations chromosomiques susceptibles d’apparaître durant le processus de production en bioréacteurs telles que les gains, les pertes, les inversions et les translocations chromosomiques. Sa plateforme de biologie moléculaire permet de réaliser des analyses fines du matériel génétique des ATMPs notamment grâce à des panels spécifiques pour détecter l’apparition de mutations pouvant conduire à l’émergence de cancers. Toujours dans le domaine des ATMPS mais plus spécifiquement à ceux destinés aux traitements en immuno-oncologie, Seqalis a lancé en juin 2022 une plateforme unique de séquençage et d’analyse quantitative des répertoires de récepteurs de lymphocytes T appelée qTCR-Seq. Une des applications très prometteuses de cette plateforme consiste à effectuer le suivi dans le temps de la réponse immunitaire (immuno-monitoring) des patients traités par immunothérapies.
