Gussion Transport UK Joins Abbey Logistics Group! 👏   We are pleased to announce the acquisition of Gussion Transport UK and Widnes Tank Container Services, based in Widnes, UK.   This acquisition not only adds a new facility to our group but also strengthens our strategic presence across the Liverpool and North West region, providing expanded office space, a wash bay, and workshop facilities. This marks Abbey's first acquisition since joining Sitra Group in October 2023 and supports SITRA’s vision of consolidating the UK and European logistics markets through both growth and expansion. The new site, positioned by the Mersey Multimodal Gateway, will complement Abbey's Liverpool base as a main service hub for the North West, further enhancing service to our clients.   David Patten, CEO of Abbey Logistics Group, shared: “This is an exciting time for Abbey Logistics Group and we welcome the customers and employees of the two businesses to our wider group.
