What an incredible opportunity to showcase our work at the stakeholders market during the Ministerial Meeting of the Greater North Sea Basin Initiative (GNSBI)! 🌊⚓️ Thanks to WindEurope, we presented our boatlanding VR experience, giving ministers and their cabinet members a firsthand feel of the offshore environment. 🚀 Harnessing Erasmus+ Funding for a Sustainable Offshore Wind Future The T-shore Centres of Vocational Excellence project has leveraged Erasmus+ funding to launch and grow our Regional Centre of Vocational Excellence (CoVE) for Offshore Wind Energy. This initiative is a vital step toward harmonised education and training across Europe, addressing the critical skills shortage in the offshore wind sector. By bringing together education providers, industry leaders, and policymakers, we are creating a sustainable ecosystem to prepare the workforce for Europe’s ambitious green energy goals. 🌱 Erasmus+ has enabled us to: ✅ Launch regional CoVEs tailored to local strengths and needs. ✅ Develop harmonised education modules for offshore wind technicians. ✅ Foster collaboration across Europe to share best practices and resources. The offshore wind industry is at the heart of Europe’s green transition, and a skilled workforce is key to achieving this vision. In het Huis van de Nederlandse Provincies in Brussel heeft het programmateam rondom T-shore de doelen op elkaar afgestemd, inzichten gedeeld en gesproken over hoe ze verder kunnen bouwen aan het gezamenlijke momentum. Afgelopen vrijdag is een bezoek gebracht aan het Europees Parlement om het werk van T-shore te belichten in de aanpak van de skills gap in de offshore windindustrie in heel Europa.
