What makes a sustainability claim credible? For the IMPACTRUN by Tero, we've organised a workshop with Maxime Van der Meerschen, Co-Founder of GiveActions. Together with Clémentine Muschs, Arthur Lhoist, Luisa Fernanda Valero, Pascaline du Bus, Pauline Lavagna and Valentina Valepiano, we've discussed how to make the communication about the IMPACTRUN by Tero transparent and credible. Having an official impact webpage to support sustainability claims turned out to be one of the keys to communicating responsibly about sustainability. 🎯 But how do you structure this webpage? We've brainstormed together and identified the following key sections: 🌱 origin and purpose of the event - the IMPACTRUN by Tero isn’t just a standalone event, it’s part of a more holistic sustainability mission that tero group has been working on for years 💪 detailed actions taken and areas of improvement - in other words communicating about what you do well and what could be improved 📝 report with measurable data - having some science-based reporting such as a carbon report is fundamental to support claims and track progress over the years ❓ FAQ section to address common questions and concerns But it’s not all, we’ve also discussed mobility, energy, food and more. It was the first edition and it was a success! We still can’t wrap our heads around what happened yesterday at the #TapioDay: 💥 More than 800 people came, of all backgrounds, ages and levels of expertise. We broke through the sustainability bubble. 🤝 The main hall was buzzing with conversations the whole day. 🗣 And most conferences were so full that people were standing. (Re)dicovering that our ecosystem is bigger than we think, and that more people care about sustainability than we actually think, was heartwarming. ❓ What were your key learnings of the #TapioDay? The political landscape has been changing - what does it mean for the CSRD? More and more voices are calling for the CSRD to be cancelled or limited in scope. But don’t make the mistake of thinking everyone is opposed to reporting regulations and that no one is up for this challenge. In fact, momentum is building. More and more companies and organisations are partnering to prepare for the challenge. Our partners and network constantly inspire us with what they do. That’s why we want to talk to you about HOME by Climattitude today. Born from the creative minds of Alice Patault, Laurence Rouffart, Paul VAN OSSELAER, Philippe Michotte, and Guillaume Vogt, HOME is an initiative that brings citizens together to raise awareness and take action on environmental challenges. With workshops, talks and many family-friendly activities, HOME is an inclusive place for everyone to start taking action for the environment. This year was a fantastic success: 120 citizen volunteers and over 100 partners took on the challenge of welcoming nearly 2,000 visitors who came to explore this event. And next year’s edition is set to be an even greater success. 🚀 HOME is organising a first meeting for returning and new volunteers. Meet them on November 19th at Maison Malibran in Ixelles, starting at 7 PM.
