I’m excited to build strong partnerships, boost revenue, and be part of an innovative, inclusive team that values both creativity and memorable guest experiences. He describes The Standard, Brussels as an exciting new hotel that blends modern style with the city’s lively culture. It will offer a unique, memorable experience with creative spaces, a welcoming vibe, and a focus on local influences. The Standard is all about making every guest feel special, whether they’re visiting from out of town or locals enjoying the atmosphere.
Assane’s insider tips for first-time visitors to Brussels, include trying some local beers: Delirium Café has an amazing beer selection, but don’t be afraid to explore smaller bars for a more authentic experience. Get waffles like a local: Skip the touristy spots and go to Maison Dandoy for some of the best waffles in town, and check out unique neighbourhoods: Areas like Saint-Géry and Flagey have great cafés, local shops, and a real taste of the city. Indulge in moules-frites: Don’t miss this classic Belgian dish— find a cozy bistro for the freshest version.
Assane says that if he were famous, he’d be known for making people smile, I’d want to be recognized for bringing joy and offering help to those who need it most. We certainly do think that Assane is going to keep everyone smiling and spirits up in the pre-opening office over the coming weeks.
Bonjour Assane, et bienvenue dans l’équipe!
