TfS - TOGETHER FOR SUSTAINABILITY AISBL launches updated PCF Guideline We are excited to announce the updated Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) Guideline—a key step forward in enabling accurate, standardised Scope 3 emissions management across industries. Key highlights: ✅ Clearer definitions: Enhanced clarity for waste materials and emissions tracking. ✅ Global harmonisation: Alignment with frameworks like WBCSD’s PACT, Catena-X, and the Global Battery Alliance. ✅ Improved data quality: Better tools for reliable carbon footprint calculations. ✅ Open-source accessibility: Continuing our commitment to widespread adoption and collaboration. The chemical industry, responsible for 7% of global GHG emissions (77% Scope 3), faces increasing regulatory and stakeholder demands for transparency. These updates empower companies to meet these challenges head-on and align with the goals of the Paris Agreement.
