We’re proud to share an incredible achievement: 5 millionth vehicle has rolled off the production line at Toyota Motor Manufacturing France (TMMF) since it began operations in 2001! 🎉 To mark the occasion, we unveiled a bespoke #YarisCross, designed by Toyota Europe Design Development (ED²) in Nice and painted in the iconic French tricolour. Here’s what makes this milestone even more remarkable: ✅ TMMF has the largest output among five #Toyota vehicle assembly plants in Europe, having produced 273,788 Yaris and Yaris Cross units in 2023. ✅ Yaris Cross, Toyota’s top-selling model in Europe and leader in the European B-SUV segment, was the most produced single model in France in 2022 and 2023. Since its inception, TMMF has grown into a symbol of #excellence. Rodolphe DELAUNAY, President & CEO of TMMF, stated:  "This milestone is the fruit of the hard work and passion of our teams and also all our partners, suppliers, and stakeholders. A principle, established with the founding of our company, being passed down through generations. Every year during November, we celebrate Quality Month as an unique opportunity demonstrating our unwavering commitment to our Customers & Quality.   🏆 The 2024 Quality Month Customer-First Recognition Awards celebrate projects that embody our values of #excellence and delights for our customers. Based on Executive’s assessments and all employee’s voices, this year, the Golden Customer-First Award went to Toyota Motor Manufacturing UK for addressing a problem related to the wheel and tyre sequencing process.   👥 The core principle behind our approach to #Quality, including ‘#CustomerFirst’, ‘and ‘#GenchiGenbutsu’ (Go & See at the scene), is to engage every organisational level of Toyota today, from the shop floor to executive management. Congratulations to #TOYOTAGAZOORacing World Rally Team 🏁🎉    What an incredible finish to the season! Securing their fourth consecutive FIA World Rally Championship manufacturers’ title, the team delivered a spectacular performance at their home event, Rally Japan.    From a tough position going into the final day to clinching the title by just three points, the entire team showcased extraordinary determination and skill. Special shoutouts to:  🏆 Elfyn Evans and Scott Martin for their well-deserved victory!                                                             🏆 Sébastien Ogier and Vincent Landais for their incredible consistency and podium finishes.  🏆 Takamoto Katsuta and Aaron Johnston for their strong season finish.  🏆 Sami Pajari and Enni Mälkönen for claiming the WRC2 championship in the GR Yaris Rally2’s debut season!    This achievement is a testament to the dedication and teamwork that drives the entire #Toyota family forward 🚗💨

#TOYOTAGAZOORacing takes title with home win in thrilling finale TOYOTA GAZOO Racing World Rally Team claimed its fourth consecutive FIA World Rally Championship manufacturers’ title* in a thrilling end to the season as it scored a one-two finish on home ground at Rally Japan. Despite closing its deficit to the leader Hyundai from 15 to 11 points based on the positions at the end of Saturday, TGR-WRT went into the final day still facing a tough task to retain its title. However, with all drivers on both teams pushing hard on the challenging asphalt roads near Toyota City, it was presented with an opportunity when the rally leader Ott Tänak went off on Sunday’s opening stage. With Elfyn Evans and Sébastien Ogier promoted into first and second overall, and with the separate Super Sunday classification also factored in, the two teams were level on points going into the rally-ending Power Stage, where up to five further points were available for the fastest drivers. As Takamoto Katsuta had followed the team’s strategy by also cleanly making it through the rally, TGR-WRT could count on three contenders in this final-stage decider. Ogier set the fastest time in the Power Stage for the full five bonus points, and with Evans third-quickest and Katsuta fourth, the team clinched the title by three points after 13 rallies. It is the eighth manufacturers’ title won by Toyota in the #WRC, drawing it level with Citroën for second place in the all-time list. Evans and co-driver Scott Martin proved to be the masters of the demanding Japanese stages once more as they celebrated their first victory since the same event one year ago. The result ensures they finish the year as runners-up in the drivers’ and co-drivers’ standings. Ogier and co-driver Vincent Landais ended the year with their seventh podium from 10 starts, including three wins. Kalle Rovanperä and Jonne Halttunen also contributed four victories from a partial campaign. Katsuta and navigator Aaron Johnston rounded out the season strongly with a second straight top-four finish. The GR Yaris Rally2 car’s debut season has been crowned with the ultimate accolade as Sami Pajari and Enni Mälkönen claimed the WRC2 championship at the final round. The Finnish crew have driven an excellent campaign – including three Rally1 appearances with TGR-WRT – that they capped with a smart drive in Japan to second place in WRC2 in their Printsport-run car, enough to seal the title by three points.

🌍 💧This week at European Hydrogen Week, we witnessed the undeniable potential of #hydrogen in driving the energy transition where electrification alone falls short. Speed and pragmatism are key to boosting the hydrogen sector. The event provided an excellent platform for exchanging ideas and building consensus with leading policymakers, stakeholders, and partners. Coordinated acceleration of demand and supply, supported by regulations like AFIR (Alternative Fuels Infrastructure Regulation), is crucial for the growth of the #HydrogenEconomy. At the #Toyota booth, we showcased how #FuelCell technology could be widely used in our society. It goes beyond light- and heavy-duty vehicles, to motorcycles, boats, trains, stationary generators, and even barbeque cookers. This vision attracted many visitors and sparked discussions. Thiebault Pâquet, Vice President Hydrogen Factory Europe, joined the High-Level Policy Conference on how to ensure fast expansion of hydrogen infrastructure. The consensus was clear: markets must drive the energy transition while the industry innovates across multiple technologies. Thiebault emphasised: 🗨️ “The FCEV fleet of cars and trucks in Paris, rolled out by Toyota and its partners, clearly showed that hydrogen mobility has the potential to decarbonize road transport quickly. A full implementation of AFIR is essential, and we call on policymakers not to compromise on targets.” In addition to developing fuel cell system and FCEV, we are doing our part in the collective efforts to accelerate #HydrogenInfrastructure deployment. Toyota's innovative Mid-Flow Twin Nozzle H2 Fast Fuelling solution prototype, based on our expertise in fuel cell systems including hydrogen tanks, was also on display to demonstrate how we can improve the cost efficiency of hydrogen infrastructure deployment. Thank you, Merci, Bedankt, ありがとうございました! We look forward to seeing you again at Hyvolution Paris in January 2025!
