We help the waste management industry with safety & efficiency by building custom AI solutions.

About us

At Viu More we help waste management, recycling and other industrial companies to : ✔ Increase the security of sites by preventing gas bottle and battery explosions ✔ Increase the efficiency of production plants by automating the detection of disturbances and defects ✔ Make smarter decisions and investments by generating objective insights in production streams Our solutions are a genius fusion of sensors, cameras and AI. We’ve solved complex business challenges for companies like Renewi, Veranneman Technical Textiles, Viridor, Beaulieu Technical Textiles, Vanheede Environment Group, Iris Industry Solutions, Nukamel… Work with us to: - Turn your gut feeling into objective data - Get an extra pair of eyes with sensors and AI - Make smarter decisions and investments - Become a frontrunner in innovation Why are we different? Most technology providers like to offer off-the-shelf solutions and prioritize state-of-the-art technology. This results in expensive products that often don’t solve the initial problem. We believe technologies like image processing and AI are only a tool. That’s why we start from your business challenge, not the technical solution. • We’re not just a local player. Our reach is international, partnering with waste management companies across borders. But our appetite for impact goes beyond this. Detecting and analyzing materials in waste management streams is where we excel. Our expertise goes deeper than a cutting-edge platform; our team isn’t afraid to get their hands dirty, sometimes literally, to better understand the challenges of our customers and to provide the best possible service. The journey to a cleaner, more sustainable world starts with dedication, precision, and a bit of grit. And we’re all in. In Belgium and way across the border. Where do we meet next? 🤝 #wastemanagement #recycling

  • Christmas is coming. 🎄 A cozy time, but with lower office occupancy rates. Do you have questions about an ongoing project? Or do you need a solution to detect hazardous materials in your waste stream? Then know that it may take a little longer for us to answer you. Although, our CEO is always up for a brainstorm for a new project. 😉 Do you have challenges in your waste management process for which you would like to be contacted? • With the end of the year approaching, this is the ideal time to take a look back at the 2023 (indeed, it takes some time to crunch the numbers) sorting figures in Flanders (BE). And they are positive. 🎉 We are active in various areas of the waste sector, offering solutions for inbound acceptance, efficiency and safety. When it comes to large processing quantities at waste processing companies, it all starts with the individual. The person who has to make the right choices to sort materials correctly, both in a professional environment and in private life. And let's face it: If things are already not going well in the last situation, why should they be better in the professional field? But good news! In Flanders, we have another sorting record in 2023! The proportion of residual waste we produce has also fallen to 126.4 kg per inhabitant. This brings us closer to the ambitious target of 100 kg per inhabitant by 2030. Moreover, 70% of household waste was collected selectively, 63% of which was effectively recycled. A great step forward for a more sustainable Flanders! Who is helping to achieve this objective? Let's us know in the comments 😉 👇 Read the full article here https://rb.gy/zfbgez #wastemanagement #recycling #zerowaste #industrialautomation

  • Hello Pollutec Paris! The leading trade fair for environment and energy in France has once again proven the importance of sustainable solutions. The presence of numerous exhibitors and visitors reaffirmed the urgency and necessity of taking waste management and recycling seriously. Pollutec brings together concrete, innovative solutions to emphasize their significance. For us, it was an inspiring visit that further confirmed our vision. As a provider of inbound acceptance, safety and efficiency systems for waste management and recycling companies, we cover the full cycle. Making an impact through sustainable projects and partnerships is our strength. 🔗 It was great catching up with François Lassarat from Lixo. Together, we are crafting exciting plans for the future. Thank you for the warm welcome and openness! 👋 We also had a brief chat with Batist Descamps from RENTEC n.v. - BELGIUM and an engaging discussion with Wim Pype from Coolrec, a division of Renewi, about expanding recycling activities in France. Looking forward to the big Pollutec in Lyon next year!

  • 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲! Fun and bonding beyond the workplace. This quarter, we took on BattleKart! 🏎️ It’s no surprise that the description of this activity fits our team perfectly: “The perfect combination of electric karting, video games, and augmented reality.” A 100% virtual circuit by projection, combined with play, insight and tactics provided a strong piece of mutual competition. A great way to come together as we look forward to an exciting new year ahead. 🎉 P.S.: Colleague Michaël could not join us because of ... well let's say very good reasons. But he will sure be up to a challenge on the next team building. 🥊

  • "𝗣𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗙𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲: 𝗔𝗜 𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗘𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘆 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿" was the title of yet another inspiring session organized by VAIA - Flanders AI Academy, highlighting the impact of AI on the energy and recycling sectors. Several keynote speakers shared their opinions, insights, and future visions on this topic. Key takeaways included: ♻️ The growing need for reliable and transparent AI solutions to support complex processes. ♻️ The importance of resource-efficient AI, which not only uses existing resources intelligently but is also continuously optimized. ♻️ Finding a balance between AI production capacity and actual needs in the sector. ♻️ The essential role of AI in real-time simulations and data processing to improve operational efficiency. That afternoon, Daneel Geysen also shed light on the ambitious, forward-thinking goals of waste management company Renewi België / Belgique. Renewi leverages our advanced AI solutions to detect hazardous materials in waste streams. Accurate detection is a crucial step in optimizing waste processing and contributes to the production of renewable energy. This once again underscores the intrinsic link between the energy sector and the waste & recycling industry: both working hand in hand to create sustainable solutions for global challenges. Every day, we are committed to supporting and scaling these objectives to an international level, helping transform the waste management and energy sectors. Thank you, North Sea Port Ghent, for hosting us at your wonderful venue. Special thanks to all other inspiring speakers: Jan Helsen Ann Nowe Chris Develder Pieter Bovijn And thank you for the invitation, Kevin D'hooge! #wastemanagement #zerowaste #recycling

We’ve wrapped up yet another inspiring day, thanks to the Verhaert | Masters in Innovation "Innovation Day". 💡 Last week, we followed two content tracks: “Robotics as a catalyst for innovation” & “Jumping the hurdles of sustainability". The result? Tons of fresh inspiration and key takeaways we’re excited to share: 🎓Innovation is crucial for a healthy economic evolution. 🎓Innovation is, first and foremost, a people-driven process. We remain irreplaceable for many tasks. 🎓Infinite thinking allows for continuous renewal. There doesn’t always need to be an endpoint; successful interim stages are often more valuable and stimulate innovation. 🎓An open relationship with various partners in an innovation trajectory unlocks a wealth of possibilities. Collaboration, open standards, clear agreements, and seamless communication are a must. 🎓Innovation isn’t always about technology! 🎓Sustainability isn’t just about the environment; many companies overlook the economic and social aspects.
