Then we are looking for you to join our team at EOC Group as an Account Manager!
What is your role?
As a Technical Account Manager, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities and managing customer relationships. You will work in a department that produces binders and film-forming water-based products for applications in paints, adhesives, sealants, and the construction industry.
Customer Relationship Management
- Independently manage your customer portfolio in the Netherlands, Germany, and Scandinavia.
- Advise customers on the right product to support their projects and drive sales in your region.
- Visit distributors / trade fairs and maintain regular contact with customers.
- Conduct prospecting to expand your customer portfolio.
- You are the point of contact for customers, which means that 50% of your working time will involve travel.
- Negotiate prices, make sales agreements, and define delivery terms.
- Follow up on payments and outstanding invoices and take appropriate action.
- Monitor credit limits.
- Follow up on sales through Sales Administration.
- Be the first point of contact for technical issues.
- Provide advice and assistance in collaboration with the Technical Service Specialist and EOC’s R&D Division.
- Investigate new markets and product opportunities based on customer needs.
- Collaborate with R&D to initiate and promote product developments.
- Keep a close eye on competition and market positioning.
We Are Looking For a Driven Professional Who
- Is fluent in Dutch, English, and German (both spoken and written).
- Has a strong commercial mindset and enjoys working independently.
- Is flexible, social, and has a high degree of interpersonal sensitivity.
- Is willing to travel frequently to the Netherlands, Germany, and Scandinavia.
- Has experience in an assertive commercial environment.
- Motivational fit is just as important to us as experience.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Problem-solving ability and stress resilience.
- Focus on safety, environment, and quality.
