Our client is a leading logistics company based in Brussels, specializing in transportation services. They are seeking an experienced Freelance P2P (Procure-to-Pay) Accountant to strengthen their finance team and support their operational and reporting needs. This will be a 6 month contract (extendable) & a hybrid working of 2 days a week on site.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain KPI reporting to monitor financial performance.
Manage Open Balance Reporting and ensure timely resolution of outstanding items.
Prepare and assist with Audit Reporting to ensure compliance and transparency.
Invoice and System Administration:
Serve as the administrator for the invoice system, ensuring smooth operation and resolving technical issues.
Oversee invoice posting and ensure accurate recording of financial data.
Asset Recovery:
Lead initiatives for asset recovery, ensuring the identification and reconciliation of unclaimed or misallocated assets.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
Proven experience in P2P processes, particularly in logistics or a related industry.
Strong background in financial reporting (KPI, open balance, audit reporting).
Hands-on experience with invoice posting and financial systems administration.
Language:
Fluency in English (both written and spoken) is mandatory.
