Accounting Manager

Obelis is currently looking for a Accounting Manager.

Your role and key responsibilities will be:

• Client Service Excellence

Deliver professional, seamless service to both external and internal clients, ensuring the highest level of satisfaction.

• Financial and Accounting Management

Leading department and company-wide development projects.

Managing accounts receivable and accounts payable processes.

Supporting the CEO in payment processing.

Coordinating with external experts for financial advice or services.

• Strategic Support

Provide support to Unit Directors and C-Level Executives.

Actively participate in strategic discussions and decision-making processes.

• Team Development and Recruitment

Help existing team to develop and to grow.

• Leadership and Goal Setting

Establish clear objectives and procedures for the team that align with company goals and KPIs.

• Cross-Department Collaboration

Ensure adequate resources and foster collaboration with other departments to achieve shared objectives and KPIs.

• Training and Knowledge Sharing

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• Fluency in English (written & oral); French or Dutch is an asset
• 7–12 years of hands-on experience in Accounting and Finance activities.
• 3–5 years of proven experience managing a team, ideally consisting of 5–7 employees, with a demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and achieve results through others.
• Strong knowledge of accounts receivable and accounts payable processes.
• Expertise in cash flow management, including planning, forecasting, and optimization.
