Nexeo is currently seeking an IT Functional Analyst - Senior for a leading financial institution in Brussels.

IT Functional Analyst - Senior – Main Responsibilities:

• Analyze and define business models using techniques like UML, Visio, and mock-ups.
• Understand and document end-to-end (E2E) process and data flow.
• Challenge business requirements in terms of technical feasibility, risks, and limitations, proposing alternative solutions.
• Collaborate with architects on technical solutions, including APIs.
• Review and understand code (Visual Basic, Python, SQL) to ensure smooth integration.
• Facilitate end-to-end testing, ensuring the quality of deliverables.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate needs into functional requirements.
• Manage risks, constraints, and impediments to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.

Profile:

• Master's degree or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in a Functional/Business Analyst role, preferably with knowledge of fraud.
• Proficient in conceptual modeling (UML, Visio, mock-ups), MS Office, and understanding of IS and testing.
• Familiar with coding languages like Visual Basic, Python, and SQL.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies is a plus.
• Strong communication skills in Dutch, French, and English.
