We are looking for a Product Owner, with strong project management skills and a passion for driving data-driven solutions and enabling analytics teams to deliver impactful projects in the finance industry. As a critical link between stakeholders and the digital data team, you will be responsible for producing technology solutions from concept to delivery that satisfy customer needs in alignment with the overall strategy of a leading financial institution. The role aims to ensure timely delivery of projects and strategic roadmap in a well-established Agile environment.

Product Ownership
We are looking for a Product Owner, with strong project management skills and a passion for driving data-driven solutions and enabling analytics teams to deliver impactful projects in the finance industry. As a critical link between stakeholders and the digital data team, you will be responsible for producing technology solutions from concept to delivery that satisfy customer needs in alignment with the overall strategy of a leading financial institution. The role aims to ensure timely delivery of projects and strategic roadmap in a well-established Agile environment.
Responsibilities:
Product Ownership
- Define and own the data product vision and roadmap alongside other key business stakeholders, aligning with business strategy and goals
- Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize initiatives based on value, feasibility, and impact on a quarterly basis.
- Translate business requirements into user stories and detailed epics, ensuring clarity for the data and other involved teams.
- Act as the primary point of contact, with strong stakeholder management practices, for the data team regarding product features, backlog prioritization, and delivery expectations.
- Stay on top of innovations (industry or vendor-specific) and new analytics features, and ensure adoption within the organisation if relevant.
- Drive the adoption of data products and solutions, ensuring alignment with end-user needs through training, communication, and ongoing support from the data team.
- Plan and manageend-to-end delivery of data projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets and resource allocation (with a focus on risk management and mitigation strategies)
- Lead scrum ceremonies, such as sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups, ensuring agile principles are upheld.
- Ensure effective communication and collaboration within the data teams, but also with other involved parties.
- Monitor project progress, and investigate opportunities for optimised processes and timely/qualitative delivery.
- Keep an overview of the budget spent with various digital marketing solutions.
- Strong communication (written and verbal) and leadership skills to manage cross-functional teams effectively.
- Proficiency in Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and project management tools
- Analytical mindset with a focus on delivering business value through data solutions.
- Working proficiency with digital analytics solutions such as Adobe Analytics, ContentSquare, ObservePoint, Medallia).
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, balancing technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience with Voice of the customer solutions such as Medallia is a plus.
- Ability to design and operationalise roadmaps, with clear priorities and a strong referenced framework, in a dynamic environment with competing demands.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Data, Digital marketing,, project management, etc.
- Experience with digital marketing technology solutions (Adobe Analytics, ContentSquare, ObservePoint, Medalia)
- Experience with Agile methodologies
- Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification or equivalent
- Fluent in English, Dutch or French is a plus
- Familiarity with the financial industry
- 3+ years' of experience as a Product Owner or project management
