Summary:

We are looking for a results-driven Area Sales Manager to lead sales operations and build strong dealer relationships in the Flanders region. This role is critical to achieving sales targets, optimizing the dealer network, and ensuring an outstanding customer experience. With a focus on executing HQ's strategic plans, analysing market trends, and fostering key account growth, you will play a pivotal role in driving success in the region.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Dealer Partnerships: Establish and maintain strong relationships with dealers in the Flanders region to achieve shared business objectives.
  • Regional Sales Execution: Implement HQ’s strategic plans and budgets to meet regional sales targets and ensure effective dealer management.
  • Customer Journey Oversight: Supervise the entire customer journey at dealerships, including lead generation, test drives, vehicle introductions, contracting, and financing.
  • Dealer Network Optimization: Evaluate dealer performance, create detailed analysis reports, propose improvement strategies, and ensure execution.
  • Key Account Development: Drive growth and achieve targets with key account customers in the region.
  • Market and Competitor Analysis: Provide timely market insights and competitor analysis to adapt regional strategies and action plans.
  • Event Management: Plan and execute popup exhibitions, including site selection, material preparation, setup, opening ceremonies, and lead collection.
  • System and Process Improvement: Develop and refine sales management systems, tools, and processes to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Dealer Collaboration: Organize regular operational meetings with dealers to communicate and implement new commercial initiatives effectively.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in marketing, commercial management, economics, automotive engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience in automotive sales or dealer network management.
  • Industry Network: Established relationships with dealer groups and a deep understanding of the Flemish automotive market.
  • Project Management Skills: Experience in site selection, architectural/construction approval processes, and implementing franchise standards is preferred.
  • Key Competencies:
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong planning, coordination, and execution abilities.
  • Resilience under pressure and a proactive, innovative approach.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluency in Dutch and English is essential; proficiency in French is a strong advantage.
  • Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel frequently within the Flanders region and occasionally outside the region as required.
