Asset & Investment Manager

About Anacom - We offer a unique opportunity for a seasoned professional to leverage in-depth experience in corporate finance, investments and asset management within an entrepreneurial business environment. As Asset & Investment Manager in the Anacom group, you will explore new territories within a family-owned and -operated organization, headquartered in the Port of Antwerp and active in more than 15 countries. The focus today is on logistics, automation and technology services. Your mission? You will shape and support the Group’s path to growth, creating value for shareholders and society. You will play a key role in implementing and managing the investment strategy, assist the group’s controlled participations with their investment agenda, and coordinate the operations of both the holding company and the family office. You will report to the chairman of the Group.

About the Role

You help to define the long-term vision of the group and you shape the strategy through concrete investment projects.

• You analyze acquisition and investment targets and you play a key role in the valuation and due diligence process.
• You assist the management teams of the member companies with strategic projects: assessing business opportunities; market potential; business cases for M&A and greenfield initiatives.
• You actively support the presentation of business cases to the shareholder and the Board of Directors of Anacom companies when needed.
• You follow up and manage holding activities: you look after and manage investment funds, VC’s, Real Estate and Liquidities.

Qualifications - A Master's degree in an economic or a financial discipline (complemented with an MBA is an extra asset) At least 5 to 10 years of experience in Finance, Corporate Strategy, M&A or another investment environment

• Analytical Skills: to evaluate and make well-prepared business investment proposals
• Decision-Making Ability: Confidence and judgment to make high-stakes investment decisions, balancing risk and reward under varying conditions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: you enjoy connecting and building relationships with managers, shareholders, board members, and key stakeholders to collaborate effectively
• An entrepreneurial spirit: you are resilient, pragmatic, you like action and you aim to score results
