As part of the Havas Group, you will support the Financial Manager in collecting and analyzing data from various Havas Group agencies in Belgium. Your role will encompass a wide range of financial activities, from performance monitoring and budget preparation to cost management and financial forecasting.

What are the tasks you will be doing?

As an Assistant Financial Controller, you will support the Financial Manager in collecting and analyzing data from Havas Group agencies in Belgium. Your main tasks will include:

• Performance Monitoring and Analysis: Prepare periodic management reports, analyze variances between forecasts and actuals, and propose corrective actions.
• Budget Preparation: Participate in defining annual budgets in collaboration with different departments and ensure compliance.
• Cost Management: Identify cost reduction opportunities and optimize resource utilization.
• Financial Forecasting: Create financial forecasts to guide the company's strategic decisions.
• Financial Process Optimization: Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial management and internal control processes.

Who are we looking for?

We are seeking a dynamic and versatile individual with the following qualifications:

• A degree from a business school or a Master's in Accounting is required.

• No prior experience is necessary for this position.

• Fluency in French and a good command of English are essential; knowledge of Dutch is a plus.

• Proficiency in financial tools such as ERP, Excel, and PBI is needed.

• The ability to analyze and synthesize complex data effectively is crucial.

• Strong project management skills are important for this role.

• A solid understanding of accounting and tax standards is required.

• Excellent interpersonal skills are a must.

• A strong team spirit and the ability to work well with others are essential.

• The ability to manage priorities and handle stress effectively.

• Being proactive and adaptable, ready to take on various tasks.
