What are we looking for?

As a Back-End Developer, you'll work on the backbone of OPENLANE's operations: a robust software system facilitating over 100,000 car sales annually across multiple countries, partners, and regulations, all while delivering a seamless user experience.

Your Role & Responsibilities

• You will be working on a software system that is the backbone of the OPENLANE organization. The system is handling approximately 100 000 car sales per year, within and across countries, with a variety of regulations and more than 150 partner integrations, while maintaining a unified experience to our buyers.
• You make and guide technical design decisions within the .NET world.
• As a senior developer you will also coach other developers in the team, sharing your experience and using pair programming.
  
  

Who are you?

• You have a bachelor's degree in IT (or equal by experience);
• You are a positive team player that likes to work in a motivating international environment;
• You have a proven experience of minimum 5 years as a C# .NET developer in a web environment;
• You have excellent communication skills that fit your senior developer background;
• You are knowledgeable about servicebus architecture and experienced with RESTful web services;
• You have a quality mindset, achieve high levels of code quality standard;
• You are experienced in the Agile way of working (Scrum), and devops (CI/CD, pipelines);
• You are fluent in English, Dutch or French are a plus;
• You are open to work 3 days/week at the Tienen office.
