Budget Controller (Antwerp)

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Budget Controller to join our team in Antwerp! If you’re passionate about budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, this is the role for you.

Your role in the team

The Budget Controller gathers, interprets, analyses and reports financial information in close consultation with all the operational departments in the business unit. He/she contributes to financial planning and control in the organization. The Budget Controller reports to the Business Unit Controller

Your responsibilities and tasks include

Monthly Reporting & Ad Hoc Support:

• Support Accounts Payable in accurately processing expenses.

• Analyze monthly figures and report deviations from budget.

• Issue monthly reports and conduct quarterly OPEX reviews with Fleet Management.

Budgeting & Forecasting:

• Assist in the annual budget process and upload final budget into the system.

• Prepare and upload quarterly forecast revisions after approval.

Internal Reporting:

• Issue reports for technical/crewing follow-ups and distribute to management

• Gather quarterly KPI reports on vessel operating expenses.

Monitoring:

• Monitor customer balances, cash flow, and supplier invoices.

• Ensure timely funding and settlement of open orders and accruals

Your profile

• Master degree in Finance and Accounting or equivalent

• Minimum 3 years of experience in finance/controlling

• Good knowledge of MS Office and PowerBI

• Excellent reporting and communication skills

• Fluent in written and spoken English and Dutch
