We're looking for a Business Controller to support the success of the business through providing accurate reporting as well as analysis of performance. Oh… Hang on. We haven't told you who we are yet. Let's start with that! 😉

This is a key role within the Finance team, responsible for providing strong financial reporting and analysis for cross-functional teams. In addition to managing over 14 national and international companies, our team specializes in business partnering, which serves as a basis for strategic decision-making.

Ready to become part of it? Your responsibilities?

• Financial planning & reporting: you are responsible for preparing full plant budgets and forecasts. You provide monthly variance analysis against the budget and forecast.
• You engage with the commercial and operational teams to discuss performance indicators, key financial metrics, projects, risks, and opportunities within the business.
• You contribute to the monthly closing tasks (operations, commercial, overhead, and sustainability reporting), as well as various group consolidation processes.
• You drive strategic financial analysis and provide insights to support strategic decisions, working closely with cross-functional teams.
• You are a strong, value-adding business partner and work close together with the business managers. You continuously share financial knowledge and updates, aligning the finance team with broader company objectives.
• You are involved in ad hoc projects looking at the options of new technologies and/or driving efficiencies.

This is how we describe you… 👇

• You hold a master’s degree in finance, economics, or a related field.
• You have at least 2 years of experience in a financial, controlling or accounting role either trough internships or employment.
• You have a good IT-skills: in depth knowledge of Excel is a must, knowledge of SAP or BI is an added-value.
• Pro-active, with strong communication & problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated, analytical, with sharp attention to detail.
• Positive “can-do” attitude.
• You are fluent in Duch and English.
